Well, it was just one of those busy days in Fandom, it would seem. Because Jane arrived to the bar to find it had been decorated by Tino in a way that was almost, kinda cute? There were stars and planets and a sun. It was the sort one might find in a science classroom in grade school.

And Tino, of course, was wearing an astronaut helmet for reasons Jane didn't ask to know. Because Tino. Even the specials looked decent for once! Suspiciously so, honestly.

Jane assumed they band was playing jazz music, but only because she didn't know it was actually called jizz music. The more you know.

It wasn't clear just how much pre-gaming Aphra had been doing, but she almost immediately staggered up onto the stage, took the microphone in a death-grip, and after a short consultation with zombie Yoko, started belting out a jizz wail version of Taylor Swift's oeuvre. All of it. Chronologically.

Atton got up on stage during a single, blissful, Aphra-free moment and bullied the zombies until they broke out the guitars.

"I hate jizz," he muttered into the microphone. And launched into a capable rendition of a song about, well... "I'm stranded in space, I'm lost without trace; I haven't this chance of getting away!"

Do you know what the universe absolutely did not need? Cade--shirtless, because Cade--up on stage singing the jizz version of Nickelback's "Burn it to the Ground."

Well, Atton's portal out of here was scheduled for a couple of hours from now. His stuff was packed. The Hawk docked somewhere inconspicuous, the hotel bill settled.

Nothing to do now but grab a soda off of Tino and settle in at the bar while he waited, right?

... and survive whatever in space Aphra was doing up there, oof. He sat down with a soda and thought about earplugs.

Sabine had been to this thing once before, but she'd been a student who knew like one person so it'd been a little weird.

Now she was older and knew probably two and a half? Maybe two and a half plus a half of people who might be here? Totally fine. Good thing it was Jane's night!

It was almost like there was a theme today or something because there was Rey, too.

She was more or less going to be looking for people she recognized the whole time, since she actually did know people from the larger GFFA now and was kind of excited about it.

Cal wasn't a huge bar person, but he'd enjoyed his Wednesday visits, and the music was enough to draw him and BD-1 in tonight.

"Oh wow, this place looks great," he said, taking a seat at the bar. BD-1 tilted his head a little as he also looked around and made a pleased beeping noise.

Harley didn't really have any need for private conversations, but she did have a cocktail she'd grabbed from the bar! Which may or may not have been one Tino had made for someone else which she'd literally grabbed while his attention was elsewhere.

She would never tell.

Instead, she was going to look up at the cartoon space ship with a confused but admiring sort of gaze. "What is up with this place tonight?"
