Caritas; Wednesday [07/10].
Tino was telling Summer all about his weekend, which sounded enough like any other weekend that Tino would tell her about that she started to become increasingly uncertain as to whether or not, from what he was telling her, he had actually been affected by the weekend at all. She tried to ask some revealing questions to help her pin it down a little more, but to no avail. Each answer seemed as frustratingly vague and uncertain as the last.
So finally, she just straight up and asked how old he was now and how old he was during the weekend, to which he just gasped and got all offended that she would even ask him something like that, and then he gave her the cold shoulder for the rest of the shift.
Which, really, was Summer preferred state of being behind the bar, so it all kind of worked out, really.
Cocktail Special
Pink Gin Martini
Jello Specials
Black Sesame Pudding
White Russian
Blue Hawaiian
Red Velvet
Caritas is open!

Re: The Bar - 07/10.
But as absolutely entralled she was with the concept, she still managed to actually look at Summer, too.
"Hi, Summer, how ya doin'? Bar treating you okay? Nothing too weird?"
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
Everyone followed that, right?
"How 'bout you? What you been up to?"
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
Thankfully odds were she was fully going to forget about it soon enough, because otherwise it was probably going to to be a disaster if she really tried to do it herself.

Re: The Bar - 07/10.
"Something cool!" Harley said, like that really meant something instead of being the vaguest possible term. "There's kind of a funky retro vibe right now I might lean into."
And she paused.
"Ooh, or I might just cover the whole thing in diamonds!"
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
A pause, and a squint.
"Wait, did you mean diamond diamonds, or just, like diamond-shapes?"
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
"Maybe diamond shapes made outta diamonds!"
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
"Oh, shit, I shoulda gotten one of those!"
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
He wasn't sure how calling her his 'friend' would go down just yet.
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
That was how it worked, right? It was in Harley's head!
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
"Désolé," he said instead. "Would you still like the drink, though?"
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
It was definitely one of those noises, that 'yes', that should've been accompanied by her snatching the drink and clutching it to her chest. But sadly Tino didn't work quite that fast.
It was a free drink, already promised, so --
"No take-backsies!"
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
"Wouldn't dream of it, cherié. You might sic Bruce on me."
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
(It would not.)
"Exactly," Harley said, pleased about the level of understanding they had about that point. "Trust me, you don't want that, and I don't want to deal with the cleanup that would take after."
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
He was pretty sure he could beat a lone hyena in a fight. He regularly sparred with Wolverine, after all.
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
"But if you hurt him, I would have to kill ya," Harley informed him, in what passed for a matter of fact tone with her. In that classic 'the mouth is smiling but the eyes aren't' kind of way. "And you don't want that, either."
Very serious headshake. Truly.
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
Being adopted by a clan that had an ancient blood feud with a Guild of Assassins didn't help. But let's be real, Remy would have made plenty of dangerous enemies along the way even without Jean-Luc and the Thieves Guild.
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
A huge portion of Gotham's criminal underworld had been coming after her with intent to murder, once upon a time, after all!
And here was Tino pushing a glass over, and Harley's expression brightened up immediately. "Oo, pretty!"
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
"Santé."
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
"Cheers!" she said, raising her glass.
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
"So, ma chef. How was your weekend? I hear it was, uh, eventful for many people."
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
She was also excellent at being oblivious to things that didn't pique her interest, so...
