Caritas; Wednesday [07/31].

Summer was squinting a little at the stage today when she came in to set up for her shift, as the zombies seemed to be milling around and testing out some more uncommon instruments. Their usual instruments were still on hand so no one had to be subjected to doing their favorite karaoke song to the bagpipes or an otamatone, but....

That would be pretty funny.

Until then, though, the patrons of the bar might be treated to some familiar background music, but as done by theramin or ocarina, and maybe a groaning debate or two amongst the band (no doubt sparked by zombie Yoko) about whether or not certain instruments really classified as 'uncommon.'

Summer was, of course, staying out of it, no matter how many times Tino tried to get her in on some kind of betting pool.

im a grown ass adult with a bunch of band friends who've been whining about me picking up the guitar for like a bazillion years, Atton retorted.

You always thought grown-ass adults had more power until you became one and you realized everyone around you was still as much of a hassle as they had been when you were kids.

the shoulder injury's old, summer.

But Atton was going to grab on to anything other than that discussion (and his incredibly terrible track record of staying in medical care long enough to prevent permanent damage from taking root). bet the wedding was fun. He swallowed any 'especially because' cracks like a good boy, then pushed on with, dropping our video tomorrow probably. then the record. so that's exciting.

Or terrifying. One of the two.

Because one of the two made Atton nauseous with nerves, actually, and she knew how he felt about admitting to that kind of thing.

look I'm just excited about the complaint-free piano i can get now, space, he texted. give us a boost when we go live?
