Summer was squinting a little at the stage today when she came in to set up for her shift, as the zombies seemed to be milling around and testing out some more uncommon instruments. Their usual instruments were still on hand so no one had to be subjected to doing their favorite karaoke song to the bagpipes or an otamatone, but....

That would be pretty funny.

Until then, though, the patrons of the bar might be treated to some familiar background music, but as done by theramin or ocarina, and maybe a groaning debate or two amongst the band (no doubt sparked by zombie Yoko) about whether or not certain instruments really classified as 'uncommon.'

Summer was, of course, staying out of it, no matter how many times Tino tried to get her in on some kind of betting pool.

After what was no doubt an utterly ridiculous day because of shenanigans, Dean headed to the bar in whatever ridiculous outfit he was forced to wear to drink.

Yes, posting the narration above even before shenanigans was even posted is a gamble. But we're rolling with it.

Seeing the specials he paused and shrugged."I'll take all of the jello shots and the last word. I don't want the cocktail, I'd just like to have the last word in anything."

There were gambles and then there were pretty safe bets, and generally, presuming on the shenanigans fell into the latter.

Having just said that, the narrative has, no doubt, very clearly just caused it to probably fall into the former, though.

"I was wondering," Summer admitted, with a grin, as she started to dutifully set out a line of jello shot, "how many people were going to try and twist that into exactly that kind of line. Thanks for not leaving me disappointed, Dean." She snorted faintly. "On this, anyway. How've you been?"

"Well apparently I'm very predictable," Dean joked. "But I've been fine. Going on a work trip tomorrow and hopefully back before the weekend. How are you doing? Is Stark still a koala?"

"Nah," Summer shook her head, "he changed back on Monday, which means I've got fuel for 'I told you so's for a while, since he was trying to come with me to Paintball and work. But, like, speaking of predictable, it's pretty likely that those sorts of things blow over by the end of the weekend. I'm sure he would have loved turning back into his stark-naked Stark-self right in the middle of Paintball. What's your work trip going to entail?"

"Not sure," Dean said, downing the cherry shot first. "Just a couple of weird deaths with not a lot of details in a small town in Iowa. Usually that means the local police have no idea what it is and are just covering it up or ignoring it. And if I ever turn into an animal again, I'm definitely not showing up for paintball. That would be painful without any gear."

"I think they're trying to branch out into a wider variety of musical instruments," Summer said with a shrug. "It's really hit and miss so far, but, I mean, yeah, I'm all for someone expanding their creative horizons."

She gestured toward the jello shots in demonstration.

"Can I interest you in any attempts to expand your drinking horizons while you're here?" she then asked, never one to let a good segue pass her by.

Eucalyptus leaf breath, thankfully, had not lasted long after Stark's transformation and the careful application of alcohol. Otherwise Summer might have objected to the now-usual kiss across the bartop when he arrived.

"Hi."

A grin as he settled on his usual stool.

"Everything sounds good tonight but I think I should start with a spaceship."

"I had a feeling you might," Summer admitted with a faint grin. Even with the pie one!

"It glows in the dark, too," she added, importantly, leading with that one before going to set all the others down with it, and then getting started on his drink. That he didn't order, but obviously he was getting.

"How's your day been, Stark?"

"They glow?" Well, now Stark was even more delighted. "And it's adorable. Perfect." His grin widened as he picked one up.

"Squirrels were fine and I stayed far away from the park so it's been a good day. You? Nothing terrible happened since the last time I saw you?"

"Nothing too terrible," Summer assured him with a mod. "Unless you count Pancakes protest puking because I gave her one kind of food for lunch instead of another one. I'm mostly just looking forward to wherever we're heading tomorrow for Wine class. Maybe we'll both even be people-shaped for it this time!"
