Caritas, Saturday - After Three Minute Dates
Well, there was still a poorly written banner up, but it now just said "HAVE GOOD BAN" which Jane wasn't touching because Tino was sulking at having it ruined. But other than that, the bar was good and open for anyone who needed to drink away their sorrows, celebrate a new connection, or maybe do a little people watching.
Jane enjoyed the people watching part the most on nights like this.

"You got away with not doing it?" she asked.

Just no one kidnap him for a manic, pixie dream girl quest or anything. Been there, done that.

No “Fuck off!” Required.

Sometimes even Yelena knew when not to poke the bear.

Until then, however, Liliana was happy to lounge here, expression one of a very pleased cat that ate the canary and had two more under her claws, dressed in something a little more Earth-standard, a You Make Me Blush in hand, enjoying the ambience of something, well, approaching an anniversary observance.
Re: The Bar
Ah, well. Just add it to the pile of things he owed to the man, and be grateful that, when it came to that sort of thing, they did tend to be relatively evenly matched.
Ignis himself had opted for just a simple wine that evening, grateful that Tino had not picked up on Summer's usual game of 'let's pick a random wine to see if it passes Ignis' approval' and agreed to just give him a dry Argentinian red.
And he had to admit, it was a little surreal, thinking that it was a night like this, just shy of a year ago, that walking into this bar had changed the trajectory of his life...forever. So it was probably no surprise that his arm had found itself around Liliana's waist for most of the evening while his other hand held his wine, just sort of basking in that rare feeling of nostalgia being a good thing, for once.

And so he'd be sidling up to the bar, to nurse a beer, just to make it feel like there had been some sort of point to the evening. Definitely not out of any sort of interest in testing any claims made over the course of the event, and he was also perhaps sizing up the zombie band and if anyone asked, he was clearly just thinking about his DJing.
Re: The Bar
"Stewart," she said, settling next to him and following his gaze. "Enjoying the dulcet tones of Unchained Melody for the however manyth time?"

He was then a little bit surprised when Don turned around and walked right back into Caritas rather than continuing on to the Tower. "I need to talk to Jane about our class," Don explained under his breath as he sat down.
And maybe some other people, too. Probably not about his class but who knew?
