Three Minute Dates- Caritas- Saturday until 8:15 pm

Caritas sort of looked like a Party City threw up, because Tino had offered to do the decorating. Of course there were balloons, streamers, glitter though it was hard to tell where it was supposed to have come from, confetti on the tables, and a butcher block banner up over the stage with "THREE MINUTE DATES" written in what was maybe paint? It sort of looked like puff paint but that had to be way too much work, right? Right?

A couple minutes before 8:00, Kitty took the stage with the zombies playing her on, and she shushed them to stop. "Hello and welcome to another Three Minute Dates!" she greeted them. "You know how this goes, unless you don't. Your names will be called into pairings every three minutes. You get together, you talk, the buzzer sounds, you go to your next table. If three minutes isn't enough time, maybe hang around a little, scope them out at the bar. And if you hate it, you just have to last five sets of three minutes, I believe in you."

She wasn't sorry if Tino signed any of you up. She was sorry for the letter banner he'd strung up over the bar reading "Have Good Banging," which was terrible English and odds were excellent that it did not stay up all night.

Early in the evening, Don was at the bar, muttering to himself over his beer: "It'll be fun."

It sounds tedious.

"You need to get out more, this is a good chance."

Shortly before eight o'clock he would be excusing himself to the men's room and then once he was sure he was alone in there the men's room would randomly get hit by lightning, so weird, so random, but for now? He was here!

Yelena had been told to show up as Melina had set up something for her. Yelena was now realizing that she was merely set up.

If she had the ability to call and shout at Melina right now she would totally be doing that.

Last year, Arden had been bullied into coming by birds. This year, it was actually voluntary, which meant this year, at least, she'd had a chance to get a little dolled up. She didn't think she'd meet anybody new, but maybe she'd at least have a chance to practice flirting with her friend before heading off to Krave next weekend with Gray.

Rey didn't actually need to be talked into this thing. It was usually a pretty good way for someone who didn't get out enough to meet new people, and she'd never had a bad time.

Which was why she didn't like how Tino was eyeing her while he wrote something down on a notepad. "I'm already on there, you can't sign me up twice!"

Lydia had been feeling quite bold until she got here and found herself, you know, once more in the bar, this time without her friends. But, well, she was here, and she quite liked her dress, so she was going to make the most of it.

Adrian was dressed in his usual well-tailored black on black. Bran had also knocked his hat on the ground before he'd left the house and spent several minutes playing keep-away before Adrian had just left in exasperation. So, here he was, hatless and much more casual, and excited to meet more people.

Gray hoped that Kitty didn't mind outside beverages, because he didn't need liquid courage, he needed liquid energy in the form of a monstrosity of a drink from the Perk that was at least twice as much syrup as espresso and topped with a mountain of whipped cream.

It would still only work if Sloth didn't decide to be a total butthole halfway through, but he was trying to stack the deck.
