Caritas; Wednesday [02/12].

Summer was in a very different place than she was last time the island was beset by this particularly sexy bout of whimsy, which mostly just meant that she was slightly annoyed and reluctant to head into the bar that day, but she figured it was good to get, you know, some fresh air and be a productive member of society or whatever. She did come prepared, though, repurposing one of her spray bottles that she usually used on Pancakes when she tried to eat plants and keeping it full of ice water to spray at people who were getting a little too...well...you know...

This was mostly to use on Tino, yes, and, at one point, she did have to threaten to upgrade the ice water to literal acid. So that was fun.

"Oh, it's the only way to think," Harley assured with a very earnest yet conspiratorial lean towards her. "I mean, once ya get past the trials and tribulations of falling for a handsome madman you keep tryin' to prove yourself to over and over, anyhow."

Or maybe that was just her?

"Anyway, thanks for noticin' how fab I am these days! You're looking real, real pretty, too."

"Thank you," she said with a smile. "I'm feeling it extra this week for some reason." Crazy, right?

"It's the drugs in the air," Harley told her, helpfully. Followed by a big, happy inhale. "Ain't it great?"

Sabine didn't think that was quite how pollen worked but she also didn't care. She knew what was being talked about out and that's what was important.

"So the week's working out for you?"

Look, you wanted scientifically accurate commentary on what the local plants were doing, you talked to the other hot doctor lady from Gotham currently residing on the island! This one was just going to oversimplify things.

(Although psychologically speaking, there was a whole bunch of interesting stuff about the aspect of lowered inhibitions --)

"Oh, I've only been back for just a lil' bit," Harley replied, waving a hand, only to then immediately breaking out a world-class smirk at Sabine. "But so far, I'm likin' the vibe."

"Well. Should you want to get more of the vibe..."

This was the second year in a row she was doing this despite her opening narrative.

Harley perked up as her smirk went even wider than it already had been.

"Wanna go make out in the lounge?"

"Immediately," she agreed.

"Excellent choice," Harley told her - and offered her her arm.

What? She was a gentlewoman, or something. Or just offering Sabine the first step into getting handsy under the guise of escorting her to the extremely relative privacy of the lounge. Or both!
