Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

The warehouse had a rowing machine, thanks to Anakin's last upgrade. Rey still didn't get it. She'd never used an exercise machine in her life. She'd never needed to. But if it was going to be here, maybe she should try it?

And about a minute into it, she stopped. Nope, still didn't get it.

"Rey?" Anakin called, stepping into the warehouse.

"Hi, what is this supposed to accomplish?" Rey asked from the machine.

[sith_happened]

"Amazing arm muscles, I'm told," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"I should have those already," she said.

All the climbing! The lightsabering!

[sith_happened]

"I wanted it to be in the lava, but someone said that seemed unsafe," he teased.

[thatwaslucky]

"Yes, because I don't want to die," she nodded.

[sith_happened]

"That's very boring," Anakin decided. "How was baggage day for you?"

[thatwaslucky]

"Could have been worse," she admitted. "I was home for a bit and came back in the evening so I missed most of it. ...How was yours?"

She was guessing not good.

[sith_happened]

"The bags are getting smaller," Anakin said. "That's probably a good sign."

[thatwaslucky]

"I didn't realize they could get smaller, so that feels like a very good sign," she smiled.

[sith_happened]

"I still didn't go outside," Anakin admitted. "I don't need to share my trauma with the entire island."

[thatwaslucky]

"I cannot blame you in the slightest," she said. "It was sort of an exercise in politely not looking at anyone else's."

[sith_happened]

Anakin nodded. "There are things about our friends we don't need to know."

[thatwaslucky]

"We get spied on by squirrels every day, we deserve some secrets," Rey said. "We don't need the awkwardness."

[sith_happened]

"Rory and her crippling coffee addiction bag thank you," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

Rey's eyes widened. "It's bad enough for a bag?"

[sith_happened]

"A coffee bag," Anakin said, nodding.

[thatwaslucky]

"Oh, Rory," she sighed. "Now I'm concerned."

[sith_happened]

"She says it goes with the day job, but she promises to cut back," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"So you think she's serious?"

Rey did not, sorry Rory.

[sith_happened]

Anakin shook his head. "I've seen how much coffee her mother drinks."

[thatwaslucky]

"This is making me really glad I never got dependent on it," she said, getting up from the machine. "Or caf."

[sith_happened]

"It's good to have one vice," Anakin said with a little smile.

[thatwaslucky]

Rey gestured to their surroundings.

She knew herself.

[sith_happened]

"Being a workaholic is a very common vice," Anakin teased.
