Fandom High Prom - Part I

City Hall is aglow with the light from the torches. Streamers in blue and yellow line the way for students towards the ballroom. Inside, hangings and other decorations represent the Lost Cities. A working volcano stands in Krakatoa's corner. Seven DVD players are projecting 3D images of the cities as well. And streamers, glitter, candles, balloons, and lights are everywhere.

Prom has begun.

"Sure," she says. Though she isn't exactly sure why they have to stand in front of... whatever those are. And she has to ask, "What are we supposed to do?"

"Strike a pose!" And he gestures her over to him. "Means we get to cuddle for the camera."

"Very nice, very nice!" says the Photographer clicking the camera like a mad ferret.

"You just do whatever comes natural baby yeah!"

Alanna came over with Charlie, trying her best not to play with her skirt.

"Who is this vision of lovelyness?!" he said grabbing a camera that may or may not be fresh from an assistant.

"My lovely date," Kawalsky replied, standing beside Alanna.

"Lucky man," said the Photographer, "Lucky man, eh?"

He laughed, some how jutting out his teeth.

"Okay you two love cats lets see what you got."

Alanna did her best not to rip Lightning from where he was hidden underneath her skirt and settled for glaring at the Photographer and standing akwardly by Charlie.

Peter led Zero over to the El Dorado background. "I don't know how good your Spanish is, but 'El Dorado' means 'The Dorado' in English. I'm full of random trivia like that."

"Wow, your Spanish is really excellent," Zero teased. "Smile for the camera." She struck a pose, one arm around Peter's waist and a wide smile on her face.

Peter put an arm around Zero's waist in return and smiled broadly. "I studied hard."

The photographer waves Zero and Peter up to the best place under the lights.

"Okay cat, put your arm around your bird."

Hamlet drags Duo over to the photographer.

"Might as well get some proof that we were here..."

Duo is still slightly distracted by the possibility that the volcano actually works, but allows himself to be dragged.

" 'El Dorado?'" He asks. "What's that? Oooh pictures!" He grins.

He pauses. "And we're not a couple, or anything of the sort."

Parker's got less issues with the El Dorado backdrop than she does with Hamunaptra. "This one should work-- right?"
