Fandom High Prom - Part I

City Hall is aglow with the light from the torches. Streamers in blue and yellow line the way for students towards the ballroom. Inside, hangings and other decorations represent the Lost Cities. A working volcano stands in Krakatoa's corner. Seven DVD players are projecting 3D images of the cities as well. And streamers, glitter, candles, balloons, and lights are everywhere.

Prom has begun.

"Sure," she says. Though she isn't exactly sure why they have to stand in front of... whatever those are. And she has to ask, "What are we supposed to do?"

"Strike a pose!" And he gestures her over to him. "Means we get to cuddle for the camera."

"Oh, sure. Cuddling in public on cue. Easy," she says.

"Very nice, very nice!" says the Photographer clicking the camera like a mad ferret.

"You just do whatever comes natural baby yeah!"

John manages to snag Aeryn for at least one cuddly picture.

"I said one," she says. "I know that's more than one. And I was just standing there."

"That's right honey. You lay down the law with your man. Rawor!" The photographer said snapping pictures faster.

"Loving it. Loving. It."

"She's totally the boss of me," John tells the photographer. And he kisses her cheek, hoping the photographer gets a picture of that one.

The clicking of the camera suddenly triples in speed making it clear that he's getting copious numbers of pictures of that one.

"You remember the shoe?" Aeryn asks John. "What do you think I could do with that camera?"

"I got my pictures." John smiles broadly at the photographer. "Thanks, buddy!"

"And I'm spent!" The Photographer said throwing the camera up into the air and moving back over to the other backdrop.

An assistant rushed up and grabbed the camera as it came down and rushed off after the photographer.
