Fandom High Prom - Part I

City Hall is aglow with the light from the torches. Streamers in blue and yellow line the way for students towards the ballroom. Inside, hangings and other decorations represent the Lost Cities. A working volcano stands in Krakatoa's corner. Seven DVD players are projecting 3D images of the cities as well. And streamers, glitter, candles, balloons, and lights are everywhere.

Prom has begun.

[ooc: Wait for the OCD threads or suffer my wrath. Done! But please wait for the music threads to go up before dancing. Prom II will be going up in about two hours. Later.]

"I was never a child," Camulus growled, folding his arms and stiffening, putting on his very best menacing Goa'uld face. His eyes flared. "I am a god."

"That's what that guy in San Francisco said a few years back." Boone noted sagely. "They let him sign himself out of the psych ward and now he runs a Jewish restaurant. But, for some reason, there's a crucifix on the wall."

Camulus just arched an imperious eyebrow at him. "Seek not to confuse me with madmen and fools, Mr. Carlyle," he said, surprisingly mildly.

"I don't!" He exclaimed quickly, unnerved as much by the mild tone as by the raised eyebrow. "I mean. Um. Have I ever mentioned that you have a really cool skirt?"

If this were an anime, Boone would be sweatdropping by now. "Kilt! Right. That was the word I was looking for!"

"Of course it was," Camulus replied mildly. His eyes flared again. "Enjoy your prom, Mr. Carlyle." There was a definite note of dismissal there.

"Right! You too, sir. I'm gonna...uh, I'll be over there."

Completely unnerved, he walked off in the direction opposite from the one he had indicated.
