Fandom High Prom - Part I

City Hall is aglow with the light from the torches. Streamers in blue and yellow line the way for students towards the ballroom. Inside, hangings and other decorations represent the Lost Cities. A working volcano stands in Krakatoa's corner. Seven DVD players are projecting 3D images of the cities as well. And streamers, glitter, candles, balloons, and lights are everywhere.

Prom has begun.

[ooc: Wait for the OCD threads or suffer my wrath. Done! But please wait for the music threads to go up before dancing. Prom II will be going up in about two hours. Later.]

Peter put an arm around Zero's waist in return and smiled broadly. "I studied hard."

Peter shrugged. "Is this cozy enough?" he asked, taking Zero's free hand. "And is it normal to take this many pictures?"

"Maybe he's planning to sell them to the paparazzi," Zero murmured in Peter's ear.

Going with it, Peter whispered in Zero's ear, "I think he's insane. Actually, I'm sure of it. Think we should call security?"

"'Fraid so. Just smile!" Zero followed her own advice, beaming at the photographer. Then she blinked hard. "Oi, didn't I see you in London?"

Zero shrugged. She'd heard of stranger than an International Man of Mist. Hmm, maybe she could name her band that?
