Fandom High Prom - Part I

City Hall is aglow with the light from the torches. Streamers in blue and yellow line the way for students towards the ballroom. Inside, hangings and other decorations represent the Lost Cities. A working volcano stands in Krakatoa's corner. Seven DVD players are projecting 3D images of the cities as well. And streamers, glitter, candles, balloons, and lights are everywhere.

Prom has begun.

[ooc: Wait for the OCD threads or suffer my wrath. Done! But please wait for the music threads to go up before dancing. Prom II will be going up in about two hours. Later.]

Angela and Marty walked in. They were both a little green, albeit for different reasons.

"So. Prom," she said, casting a worried eye on him. "You okay?"

Marty seemed to be bordering on nervous giddyness. "I'm hanging in there. I'm good. I'm good. You?"

Angela grinned and gripped his arm a little tighter. "Also good. Yeah."

She looked around the room, gesturing at the many decorations with her free hand. "So this is what we did in detention. What do you think?"

Marty blinked at the decorations and the 3-D figures going on. "This is pretty great. What did you work on?"

"I helped paint the backdrops in art, but really most of what I did was trying to sneak gold paint from Jake and Krycek so El Dorado looked right. And then today I hung streamers and balloons, and shoved tables around. That's about it," Angela said.

Marty slipped his arm around Angela's waist, feeling a little bit more at ease. "Well it looks great. What do you want to do first? Pictures? Punch?"

The prom picture is kind of traditional," Angela pointed out. "Want to do it by the castle-y looking thing?"
