Fandom High Prom - Part I

City Hall is aglow with the light from the torches. Streamers in blue and yellow line the way for students towards the ballroom. Inside, hangings and other decorations represent the Lost Cities. A working volcano stands in Krakatoa's corner. Seven DVD players are projecting 3D images of the cities as well. And streamers, glitter, candles, balloons, and lights are everywhere.

Prom has begun.

"Maybe you shouldn't give her ideas then?"

Angel snickered. "I don't think she needs my help in that area."

"Well, a fertile imagination is a wonderful thing."

"I'd rather encourage her creativity elsewhere."

"Any particular way you'd like it directed?"

"Somebody mentioned rumpling?"

Callisto snickered. "Not in public."

Angel lowered her into a dip. He grinned. "Maybe some of us have plans."

She grinned back. "You do huh? Any details?"

"And ruin my one advantage of surprise?" Angel lifted her back up. "Never."

Callisto leant against him after she came back up. To help regain her balance, yes. "Not even if I ask nicely?"

"Nope." Angel grinned. He took her for a spin.

"Darn," Callisto mock-pouted.

"I'm crafty," Angel said. "Just you wait."

"Okay, now I'm starting to get worried."

"Adds an element of danger," Angel said, waving that off.

"If there is pink involved, you die."

"Hmm," Angel pretended to look thoughtful. "What if I'm the one wearing it?"

Callisto raised an eyebrow. "I worry about you sometimes."

"Only sometimes? I've improved."

"Well, most of the time, really."

"But not all of the time," Angel pointed out. "I'm calling that a win."

Callisto snickered and head-chested. "Doofus."

"But your doofus."

"Yes," Callisto kissed his cheek. "Mine, all mine."
