Fandom High Prom - Part I

City Hall is aglow with the light from the torches. Streamers in blue and yellow line the way for students towards the ballroom. Inside, hangings and other decorations represent the Lost Cities. A working volcano stands in Krakatoa's corner. Seven DVD players are projecting 3D images of the cities as well. And streamers, glitter, candles, balloons, and lights are everywhere.

Prom has begun.

"I'll be sure to remember that." D'anna fought down a snicker and simply smiled. A good picture would be a nice memento.

The photographer moved up to take some close-ups and quickly moved around. Holding the camera out he leans in next to D'anna and snaps a picture of the two of them.

She threw back her head and laughed. "Name's D'anna. Who are you?"

He gave her what he must think is a smoldering glance.

"Name's Powers." he said with a slight shake of his head. "Austin, Danger, Powers."

He brought his camera up and snapped a quick shot of the two of them in profile.

He took her hand to kiss it.

"Pleased to meet you D'anna."

His smoldering glance made her lips tremble.

Tremble with repressed laughter.

Probably not the response he was hopping for, but he was fun.

"Thanks." She managed a cheerful smile.
