Fandom High Prom - Part I

City Hall is aglow with the light from the torches. Streamers in blue and yellow line the way for students towards the ballroom. Inside, hangings and other decorations represent the Lost Cities. A working volcano stands in Krakatoa's corner. Seven DVD players are projecting 3D images of the cities as well. And streamers, glitter, candles, balloons, and lights are everywhere.

Prom has begun.

[ooc: Wait for the OCD threads or suffer my wrath. Done! But please wait for the music threads to go up before dancing. Prom II will be going up in about two hours. Later.]

"Stop worrying, Parker," he said, taking matters into his own hands and kissing her, but trying not to muss her hair too badly. "You're here to have fun, remember? Relax."

Parker managed to relax while he was kissing her, at least. "Right. Let's get our picture taken, okay? I want a souvenir from tonight."

"We should send a copy to Ben," he said, quietly, "and save one for Sydney, since we can't really send it to him."

She paused, surprised at the idea, then nodded. "You're right. Ben should get a copy." Then, after a minute, "And I suppose Syd would like one, wouldn't he?"

"I'm sure he would, but you know why it's not safe for him to have one." Too many prying eyes in the Centre, and a picture would give evidence that Sydney knew where he was, as did Parker, putting them both at risk. Which he refused to do. "And I would like a copy."
