Fandom High Prom - Part I

City Hall is aglow with the light from the torches. Streamers in blue and yellow line the way for students towards the ballroom. Inside, hangings and other decorations represent the Lost Cities. A working volcano stands in Krakatoa's corner. Seven DVD players are projecting 3D images of the cities as well. And streamers, glitter, candles, balloons, and lights are everywhere.

Prom has begun.

"I don't doubt it," he said seriously. "Just promise me you don't walk back alone later? Come find me if you have to?" So maybe his trust in Blair still wasn't all that great.

Molly thought about arguing that she didn't need anyone to walk her home, but she decided against it.

"If I need someone to walk me home, I will come find you," she said instead.

"Thanks, it will make me feel better," he said with a smile to let her know that he did know she could take care of herself. He touched her cheek briefly. "Go have fun."
