Fandom High Prom - Part I

City Hall is aglow with the light from the torches. Streamers in blue and yellow line the way for students towards the ballroom. Inside, hangings and other decorations represent the Lost Cities. A working volcano stands in Krakatoa's corner. Seven DVD players are projecting 3D images of the cities as well. And streamers, glitter, candles, balloons, and lights are everywhere.

Prom has begun.

He blushed and scratched the back of his neck. "Yeah, I'm sure she'll be glad to hear all that hard work wasn't completely wasted."

He might be able to say something witty in reply. Maybe, but there was the whole blushing thing going on and not much of anything coming out.

"Fine, super duper," he cleared his throat and grinned. "And thirsty," he saud motioning to the punch.

"Punch it is," Sam followed him over and grabbed to cups, handing one to him. She sipped at hers. Darn, not spiked yet.
