Donnie blinked. "Oh. I guess... that'd do it." After learning gryphons existed where Karal came from, satyrs didn't seem a huge jump. Still... "Was that here at Fandom?"

Donnie looked sort of at a loss, finally. "This place is really strange," he remarked, in an instance of amazing understatement.

"Yeah it is," Dean said with a sudden grin. "You'll fit right in. Might be some initial staring and stupidly obvious questions, but no one's going to make a big deal out of the turtle thing."

"A girl screamed at me and called me a demon, yesterday," Donnie pointed out. "But you're right - so far, everyone else has been great."

"Demons are a little more literal for some of us around here," Dean explained. "My family hunts them for example."

Donnie didn't seem overly surprised. "I guess I'd better be glad it didn't go any further than 'ack, demon', then?"

"Generally most people here will doublecheck before exorcising," Dean reassured him. "There's even been a demon or two as legitimate students."
