fandomtownies | Graduation Brunch: The Park, Sunday, mid-morning to mid-afternoon

It was the Grads' Brunch in the park today, as the brightly coloured banner -- CONGRATULATIONS, CLASS OF 2008! -- indicated.

There were lots of tables and chairs set up in the park, under sails for shade, and long tables groaning under the weight of the food and drink. Not just traditional ~~moddable~~ brunch foods, but a wide selection of ~~also moddable~~ greek dishes and delicacies.

Coffees, teas, punch, juices and softdrink were only some of the ~~also also moddable are you sensing a theme here?~~ wide range of drinks.

Music played quietly in the background, the speakers hanging from the trees, and bocce ball and croquet had been set up. There was even space for dancing, a hard floor having been laid over the grass between the trees.

It may be the Grads' Brunch, but everyone was welcome! Come and congratulate the class of 2008!

Was that a headlock Jared suddenly found himself in? Why yes, it was.

"Jared, what have I said about insulting my girlfriend?"

Jared struggled to get free, without much success. "It's fun?"

Seely grinned and noogie-ed him. "Nope, guess again."

"Hey! Seely! Stop it!" Jared squawked, flailing.

"That's right," Seely said, laughing and giving Jared one last noogie before letting him go.

Naturally, the first thing Jared did once he was free was attempt to tackle Seely.

Grinning, Seely responded to the tackling by attempting to wrestle Jared into submission.

This was likely to go on for a while.

Aravis wandered over, eyed them, got herself some tea, and decided it was best to just remove herself from the situation before either of them noticed her presence.

Honestly. It was like being around the twins.

Seely grinned when he caught sight of her. "Aravis!"

Jared was back in the headlock.

"Hello, dear," she sighed, tossing off a little wave. "Why don't you let him go?"

Seely looked down at Jared, who waved back. "Because it's fun?"

"You're both so odd," she said, staring and rolling her eyes.

Seely let Jared go so he could come over to Aravis. "I love you too."

She raised an eyebrow. "So how are you?"

"I'm good," Seely replied, grinning. "How about you?"

"Fine," she said, and reached up to smooth his hair. "Not feeling the urge to wrestle with anyone."

Seely bent down to kiss her cheek. "Sure I can't change your mind?" he murmured.

"Not here, at least," Aravis murmured, actually catching onto a double entendre on the first try for once. "Ask me again later."

Seely grinned. "I'll be sure too."
