Graduation Brunch: The Park, Sunday, mid-morning to mid-afternoon

It was the Grads' Brunch in the park today, as the brightly coloured banner -- CONGRATULATIONS, CLASS OF 2008! -- indicated.

There were lots of tables and chairs set up in the park, under sails for shade, and long tables groaning under the weight of the food and drink. Not just traditional moddable brunch foods, but a wide selection of also moddable greek dishes and delicacies.

Coffees, teas, punch, juices and softdrink were only some of the also also moddable are you sensing a theme here? wide range of drinks.

Music played quietly in the background, the speakers hanging from the trees, and bocce ball and croquet had been set up. There was even space for dancing, a hard floor having been laid over the grass between the trees.

It may be the Grads' Brunch, but everyone was welcome! Come and congratulate the class of 2008!

Mac wasn't quite sure what went into most of the Greek dishes, so she was sticking to nibbling on the fresh vegetables.

As far as graduation after-effects went, this was pretty nice. The school was still in one piece, and she got to say she'd been to another different country.

Adam wasn't going to miss out on the brunch. He was proud of his friends for graduating, though he was going to miss them.

He was glad that the school hadn't been blown up; he'd heard that's what had happened at last year's graduation. All in all, this year's graduation had been great.

Tori couldn't believe another Fandom graduation had passed. She took a moment to look at the set up, wondering if anyone might be up for a game of bocce ball.

A brunch? Where all were welcome? Tom was so there. Even if it made him late going to Pizza Planet today, because he wanted to see more of the island than his parlor and his usual walking path to it.

Z was always a fan of free food, so she piled up her plate with dolmades, kolokythoanthoi, spanakopita, some yogurt with honey, and of course, baklava. Mmmmm baklava.

Peter had somehow ended up with a huge, huge plate full of food. Somehow. So he found a seat at one of the tables and prepared to eat it in celebration of their graduation.

Adah was still upset about the fact that Rachel was here. Well, actually, Adah was upset about a lot of things, but that wasn't exactly rare. So, really, when she, her sister, and her mother all sat down to brunch, it really was no surprise that she did more slouched sulking at her food than anything else.

One of the things that was similar when it came to Shawn and his brother, their attitude towards food. When it was free, Danny was sure going to make the most of it. He had a plate piled up with Greek food.

The fact they were actually suddenly in Greece, still weirding him out, but he was dealing with it pretty well considering.

Annette and her parents sat down at a lovely table to enjoy their food. She was still having to explain the fairies to her dad but finally waved off the topic by telling him it was just a performance. Don't worry about it.
