"There, there," Jolee told Tino. "It'll be okay. Lift your head up high and get back to work. There are new people in town. That always causes people to want to drink more."

Tino couldn't help feeling sad, though. All of the teams he had been rooting for this weekend had lost! All he knew was that the Eagles had better win or he was going to be very angry.

[OOC: Tino up there is reflecting my opinions of the NFL playoffs this weekend. GO PHILLY! I may be a little slow again. Please mod Tino for speed or groups.]

Normally, Sarah would have shot him down, but she remembered her conversation with Daisy and decided to actually try something new. It was just a drink, after all.

"I'm sure you can," she told him with a smile. "The question is if I should let you."

Lindsay gave Sarah a wave as she entered the bar. "Hey Walker. How is it we always see each other when alcohol is being served?"

Nathan required whiskey. Post-haste. It had been that sort of weekend, really, and he was going to make use of the fact that he'd stumbled across a bar in order to deal with that fact.

The fact that one drink cost nearly the equivalent of a day's wage with the Winchester Company simply meant that he was going to have to pace himself tonight.

"Mr. Durden neglected to mention the decrease of the worth in the American Dollar," he mumbled as he took his first mouthful of alcohol.

Sarah only caught part of the sentence. "And this isn't even the most expensive bar I've been to," she commented.

"It would have to be the most expensive one I've been to," Algren replied, glancing at the lady who had spoken with a raised eyebrow. "A dollar went a very, very long way, the last time I went to a bar."

About a week ago. Wasn't inflation terrible?

Tony lifted his glass in greeting to the--oddly dressed fellow at the bar. Yeah, that was interesting to say the least.

Lindsay caught the mention of the name and looked over to see someone who looked like he desperately needed a drink.

"You mean recently?" She asked. "Or did Durden give you a bad exchange rate?"

Taking a seat at the bar, Tony looked around for blond hair. Steve wasn't getting out of this drink if he had any say in the matter.

Well, there was at least one head of blonde hair at the bar, though not the one Tony wanted. "Tony," Sarah said playfully. "I haven't had sushi in months."

Tully came into the bar with the intention of getting drunk. If other things happened, that would be cool too, but drunkeness was his primary goal.

I was totally rooting for the Colts, but that Darren Sproles guy is nuts. LT is probably concerned about his job for next season now.
