3 Minute Dates; Caritas; Saturday Evening

Marion had spent most of the afternoon decorating the bar with Valentine's decorations she handwavily got from Turtle & Canary. The whole red and pink theme was kind of making her gag but it was Valentine's Day and people were here to find love or whatever.

Marion hoped she was getting a bonus for this or something

After she had set all the decorations and tables up, she put out a nice sign:

Caritas Presents
THREE MINUTE DATES

Hosted by Marion Ravenwood
Reject people real fast

When everyone arrived, Marion got on stage and grabbed the mic. "Okay everyone, this is how this is gonna work. I call your name and someone else's. You get together. You guys talk for three minutes, get to know each other and then you'll hear this," Marion put a whistle into her mouth and blew. "Then I call your name with someone else's and then you switch. Then you do the same thing again. Five times total. Questions? No? Good!"

Then she blew the whistle for fun.

[3 minutes = 10 comments, 5 for each of you. You can do these out of order but try not to Joss yourselves. Up early for great SP justice]

[Wait for the OCD or, I swear, I will have Emmett hug you until your back breaks OCD UP!]

The hell had he gotten himself roped into this? He sat down and looked to see who would sit down across from him.

"Dana," Dana introduced herself when she sat down. "I've somehow finally sunk this low."

"Tully Mars. Don't be too embarrassed. It looks like we all have." Even if he hadn't intended to sign up for this when he came in tonight.
fear_of_fish: (i may be overthinking)

"I'm not sure if that's supposed to make me feel like I'm in a better class of people or worse..." she admitted.

"Well at least you're not dating online." Tully offered with a chuckle.

"I'd have to give it up and just buy cats at that point," she said immediately.

Tully laughed. "So what is it you do Dana?"
fear_of_fish: (this is sports night)

"I teach at the school when I'm not running a successful late night cable sports show," she answered. She liked sounding impressive. "What about you?"

That was indeed impressive. It'd be even more so if he watched TV. "I'm restoring the lighthouse on the other side of the island." It might not be as glamorous but he was rather proud of his job.
fear_of_fish: (that did not make me upset congrats)

"Not a bad gig. Good luck with all the work," she said, and that was the whistle. "And with the rest of your dates. It was good meeting you."
