Caritas - Wednesday, 4/29

Penelope decided that she was going to give free drinks to seniors. She just was. She told Tino this too so if he served any seniors, he was not to charge them. And they weren't exactly free as she was going to be keeping a tab only to pay it herself at the end of her shift.

She wasn't a senior, she knew, but she was drinking. She was a bit put out about her roommate leaving so it seemed the thing to do.

The band was playing Journey tonight which she thought pretty decent of them.

Caritas is open.

"What?" Dinah frowned, worried. "Did I get it wrong? No pillows?" She blinked at him, then shook her head vehemently. "No! You need emergency pillows in case of--" She cut herself off by taking a big slurp of her drink, turning red from her neck to her hairline.

There was no verbal equivalent of a keysmash. There was a mental one, however. Which is just what Merlin did. "What?!"

"Nothing!" Which was kind of the point, 'cause apparently Arthur had been wearing... "Nothing!" Dinah was turning bright neon pink by now, and she babbled, "See, you guys persevere and overcome and it gives me hope 'cause you carry on like a song and I don't mean carry on in a bad way, I mean just keep going and going and okay I should shut up now way already hunh?"

Dinah finished her rum'n'coke, then stood up. "I... will sing now." Because really. That's what the conversation was lacking. One of them running away to be even more embarrassing. "You watch, okay?"
