Caritas [Saturday evening]

Robin was not wearing her Robin Sparkles regalia longer than she needed to. Which was for the obligatory performance.

So, for right now, the wig and graffiti denim jacket were tucked away, and Robin herself, brunette and irritable-looking as ever, was behind the bar and eyeing a bottle of Johnnie Walker.

And there was Adora, thrilled her friends were meeting and attempting to hug her friend immediately upon seeing him. "Hannibal Not-a-King! I'm so glad you could come!"

"You're very happy," he said, catching her in that hug and returning it.

"I am!" Adora agreed, giving him a squeeze before stepping away. "I had missed Bow and everyone so much! And now, it's like Eternia is here!"

And there would be no more exclamation marks for anyone else, ever.

"Did Bow surprise you?" he asked.

"Completely," she told him. "I had no idea there was even a special event tonight!"

"I don't know if I've ever seen you this happy," he said, laughing. "Bow's a musician?"

Adora wasn't sure you could call it that without giggling a little, but. "Uh, yes. He entertains the children at the campfire with his harp and his illusions."

"Magician too?" Hannibal asked. "Sounds like a really talented guy."

"Oh yes, I'm sure he'll tell you just how talented, too," Adora laughed. "Oh and um, he doesn't know." She gave her friend a pointed look.

"I won't tell him," he said and made a zipping motion across his lips. "Any reason he doesn't?"

That was a good question. "Um, mostly because he's in love with...someone and it might break his heart."

"Ah." Well, Hannibal knew that it was easy to crush on She-Ra. "So, I shouldn't tell him about our kids?"

"You wouldn't!" Her eyes were like terrified saucers.

"I won't now!" he promised, laughing. "But his reaction would be hilarious, don't you think?"

"I cannot even imagine," Adora told him. "Were you there when I passed out? It would likely be much the same."

"Adora, I promise, I won't," he said, smiling at her. "I promise. Don't worry and don't look at me like that."

"Like what?" Adora asked, still looking at him the same way.

"Like you're about to vomit from nausea!" Hannibal said. "Having kids with me is not that bad!"

"It's not, you're right," Adora allowed. "But you would think I'd at least have one with my boyfriend or the captain of the guard or..." She thought she'd made her point.

"Adora, you're making me feel like crap here," he said, trying to laugh it off.

"Oh, no! I just meant someone I'd...you know, gone for a walk with," Adora was a bit embarrassed to have to spell it out like that. "Our children were wonderful, just difficult to explain."

"Well, you should have just said that," he said and shook his head. "But, the island is weird. Weird things happen."

"It is weird. I feel I should stop being surprised to hear things like what radio reports."

"Something recent catch your ear?" he wondered.

Adora smirked, "I did hear that you and Edward have had a conversation that didn't go to blows, which I applaud you both for."
