Robin was not wearing her Robin Sparkles regalia longer than she needed to. Which was for the obligatory performance.

So, for right now, the wig and graffiti denim jacket were tucked away, and Robin herself, brunette and irritable-looking as ever, was behind the bar and eyeing a bottle of Johnnie Walker.

He was indeed. He'd spent many a day busking in the Isles, so he was much better than he used to be.

He no longer sounded like he had sausages strapped to his fingers.

Dinah cheered the guy with the multi-colored hair, and looked around for Claudia and Chameleon-Priestly. They'd probably both like his hair and his fashion sense.

Dinah applauded again, and wished for a lighter. Then looked around for one to TK to herself. Then gave up and applauded some more.

"Thanks." Oz said to the girl. If Dinah could discern any wistfulness in his tone, she was to be commended.

It'd been a long time since a girl had cheered him. He wondered whatever became of her.

"You're welcome, you're really good," Dinah said, wanting to encourage him. Bass music was more her thing than some of the other music here.

"Still cool," Dinah offered, then, in order to say something else, "I'm Dinah. Student here." Oz's laconic speech patterns seemed to be contagious.

Dinah bit her lip, trying to think if she should pass that off as a joke, then gave up. She sucked at that anyway. "Um. The island gets... weird, sometimes. Really weird. Stuff shows up and attacks?" Okay, way to sound insane.

"Not that I've heard of?" Dinah offered, relieved he seemed to believe her. "But we had a harpy attack in March. And alligators about three weeks back. And oh, the zombies. That wasn't fun."

"Kind of? They were way uglier and more aggressive and wanted to eat our brains. These guys just want to play music." Dinah shook her head. "There was some voodoo sorceror controlling them, but we managed to keep it from getting too bad, and the gremlins here helped break the spell." She paused. "And you are way not surprised about any of this, are you?"
