Robin was not wearing her Robin Sparkles regalia longer than she needed to. Which was for the obligatory performance.

So, for right now, the wig and graffiti denim jacket were tucked away, and Robin herself, brunette and irritable-looking as ever, was behind the bar and eyeing a bottle of Johnnie Walker.

Dream Girl, as it just so happened, had sloshed her way back from the duck pond (http://thismaskiwear.livejournal.com/8750.html) in the park and was dripping a trail across the Caritas floor back toward Francine.

. . . it was a dirty dream, apparently. Just not that kind of . . . never mind.

Griffin cast one last passing glance at Baby June. He knew better to come at her shouting her name now; he let his drink slosh around in the glass one more time before he brought it up in an invisible toast to Francine, and then drank it.

Katchoo squelched a few steps toward Francine, completely missing out on the invisible toast. There was pond water dripping into her eyes, okay?

"Uh, hi."

"It was a tic," Katchoo said, deadpan. "And I ended up in the duck pond. Stupid whatever the hell magic thing."

"...I meant the tick. Come on, we need to get you back to the dorms. You're soaked!" Francine kind of sort of remembered her manners in the face of a possibly-damaged Katchoo, enough to half-turn back to Griffin and give him an apologetic wave. "Sorry! I mean, um, thanks. I mean, nice dreaming, um, meeting you!"

"What ti --" Katchoo decided she'd take the mistake if she didn't have to explain why she'd tried to punch her favorite musician in the middle of a bar with a sanctuary spell on it. "Nah, I killed the little sucker dead."
