Damon wasn't really liking this whole extra work thing he's been doing lately but it honestly wasn't like he had anything better to do around here. He knew better than to ask for more excitement. Nobody wanted a repeat of last weekend. No, no, he'll be content with this for now, thank you.

"Oh. Well welcome to town. I'm Damon," he said, giving her another smile. "And, yes, this place is wild in a totally screwed up kind of way."

"Nice to meet you Damon. I'm Kris," she replied, still grinning. "Sounds like a place I could get used to."

Her life was already pretty screwed up.

"Good to know. I like to be entertained," Kris replied. "Unless it's really bad karaoke."
