Deadpool was pretty sure he was gonna need to be wasted by the end of the night, but for now he was having enough fun with the cheap and not too great tasting beer. Look, it was the first day of trying to start a bowling league. Of course he was gonna get hammered.

There were plenty of those disease filled rental shoes for people and even some fancy sparkly balls.

Heh. Balls.

Oh yeah, it was gonna be a interesting night no matter what.

Why yes, Algren did have a beer in hand.

And really gross shoes on his feet. He figured that one was a fair enough trade-off for the other. And it got him out of the house for something besides work.

Biff hadn't complained enough about the weather to the people he lived with. He needed to complain about it to everyone, like that would help or something.

Ghanima had gotten a moderately strong ale of some sort, which she was going to enjoy for a bit before she even considered putting on the gross shoes.

She was, for once, even wearing contemporary clothing. Because it was far easier to bowl in jeans and a tank-top than in her usual dresses or robes, and really, she just liked wearing her combat boots.

"Why do we have to wear the ugly shoes again?" she asked, making a face. "My own shoes fit perfectly fine."

Since Loki didn't really have anything else to do and had seen the signs (like the cold really made a difference to him), he'd brought himself down to the bowling alley to see what the signs meant.

So, he was there. If it was too fucking boring, he'd just sit and laugh at people.

The beer would have been better if it was Canadian, but Alysha decided it would do. The shoes were a different story however, and she was seeing how stuff turned out before deciding if she needed to go through the trouble of charming a pair clean.

Mm, beer. And possibly adults. Crazy talk.

Socializing was important for her cover. Really. Cindy's being here had nothing to do with being locked inside her hotel room for two days, trying to figure out if this was all just a plot of the Adversary's.

Bigby had been so relieved when her phone died and she couldn't call him up and hurl invectives at his head in the name of 'progress reports.'

Beer. Cindy definitely had beer. And her own shoes (http://www.tchapin.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/bowling_shoes.jpg). She wasn't a fan of bowling, but come on. Shoes. Besides, most places didn't carry shoes her size unless she wanted to wear children's shoes.

Steve was here not for the gross shoes and the beer (he, in fact, had a Mr. Pibb in hand), but to build camaraderie with his coworkers and neighbors. For lo, he was Steve Rogers. That was how he rolled.

Bowling was not Dimitri's normal down-time activity, but it would do him some good to meet other adults in town.

Finding shoes that worked for him was going to be interesting.

Since Jim was now able to get out of the house and make his way to a place with crappy beer, he figured he might as well join up with the bowling league.

Unfortunately he couldn't quite convince the camera guy that this wasn't a work function, so there was a guy sitting by the bar taking video of Jim as he started to put on his shoes.

Bowling was not exactly Jaina's thing, and she wasn't even sure how welcome she'd be, but there was a serious problem with being a twenty-one-year-old student: hanging out with high school age kids all the time might make you seem a little creepy. Might as well spend some time with the eighteen and older crowd.

So she got herself a drink and... was really considering whether she might catch anything from the shoes she was refusing to put on.

Irulan appeared feeling she has been less than social these past few months and it was something she wanted rectified. She even had a glass of beer, the shoes though, she was quite dubious about.

It wasn't going well with her hat.

Henry wasn't much of a bowler, but he was bored senseless with sitting in his apartment and calling Clare.

So there he was, eying the shoes he'd been handed like they had insulted him personally. "I think I can see cancer germs coming off these."

Just don't bowl backwards. This isn't like in Wii where everyone just jumps up and spins. People will get hurt because... they're probably too drunk to move very fast.

Eventually Jaina decided she had to at least try this, even if it meant having to wear the stupid shoes. And as it turned out, her very first try meant the ball rolling right down the center of the aisle for a strike.

She didn't see anyone say you couldn't use powers.

I think I enjoy throwing the Wii ball backwards more than I enjoy the rest of the game. And don't get me wrong, I love the rest of the game. But the rest of the game doesn't have mocking choreography.
