Streets of Fandom - Saturday
There was a bull-size wolf moving through town. The fact that some people might end up thinking he was a monster had occurred to Jacob, but his sense of self preservation was very much skewed. Besides, how many monsters did you know that walked around with a cut off pair of jeans attached to his hind leg by a gas mask. Luckily there was no droid baby, Sedna had been dumped with Morgana which seemed better for everyone involved. Except perhaps Morgana.
It left Jacob free to wander the island, trying to pick up a scent of the wolves that had taken the principal. He couldn't help wondering if the one he'd met on Thursday had anything to do with it. He didn't want to believe it, she'd been... He didn't know what it had been, but he'd been comfortable with her almost as if she'd been one of his pack despite all the differences.
The fog was still thick and while Jake's bulk gave him at least some time before he started hallucinating, he wasn't immune. It forced him to retreat regularly when the vampire scents became more poignant and he could see things moving that weren't really there. He'd find a spot, turn back and breath through the gas mask until he was certain his head was clear enough. Then he'd be back out, looking for real monsters and the wolves. Because somehow that was personal.
[Open for monster encounters and/or running into Jake.]

It was proving difficult to see, difficult to even move and he'd resorted to waving a hand in front of him to try and disperse some of the fog as he walked.
"This is unreal," he muttered, watching his feet as he walked to make sure he didn't trip over anything errant.
[SP cuz of work but who could resist hallucinating roommates even if one is in wolf form?]

The indecision had probably made it too late anyway and Jacob held his spot, lowering his head to look less intimidating as he peered ahead in the mist.

When he thought he caught sight of...something up ahead, he stopped and kept still. Mentally, he cursed for the inability to Fade. Outwardly, he breathed quietly and tried to will himself to see what was near.

Spotting an oversized version of his foul beast brothers, the godzilla roared, calling it to battle!
no subject
His hackles raised and he let out a snarl in response, but kept his ground for the moment just in case he was making this thing up from his previous battle.

So also out on the streets was a near seven-foot green giantess, who was definitely no monster.
The one thing she wasn't expecting to see was a giant wolf. Seriously, that was one big wolf.
"...I feel like I should be wearing a big red cloak with a hood," she said.
no subject
He grinned at Jennifer, looking rather amused for a big ass wolf.
no subject
"Hey wolfie," she greeted. "Don't suppose I know you, huh? Run around here often?"

Emerging from the thick fog, Dimitri paused at the sight of the familiar wolf.
no subject
This wasn't Rose, but the other one and he raised himself, looking at Dimitri but making no attempt to attack him. That'd just be repeating themselves.

Her scowl was hidden underneath her mask, and she kept her weapon at the ready. It wouldn't do be caught unprepared, especially since anything she encountered was likely to be at close range.
She also kept her eye out for other students or adults from the island. It wouldn't do to shoot one of them, either.

... was still out on the streets. With his blaster gun, and the red laser scope attached. It cut a figure against the fog, that was for sure. Sneaking.
no subject
Was that... a spotting laser?

By her side, unsurprisingly, was Blind Seer. He did not have a mask, just determination not to repeat the embarrassment of the scent-magic incident in the sewers beneath Thendulla Lypella. His nose would not be fooled again.
Blood, Blind Seer commented, sniffing the air. Wolf's blood.
Show yourself! Firekeeper demanded, wondering if the blood belonged to their prey.

Just like his muzzle, there was green and red blood on it, but the wounds there at least were gone. He stopped moving, recognising the familiar scent and really there were only two wolves on the island who'd ever spoken to him like this.
It's just me, he answered.
no subject
Well, 'just me', you look as if you've had some trouble, which was perhaps an understatement as she took in Jacob's state.

Barefoot as usual, and lightsaber casting a freakish pale blue glow in the fog, she already had gunk from several dispatched creatures on her as she paced through the streets. She was very slightly more the Yuuzhan Vong warrior than the Jedi Knight at the moment; considering the creatures they were dealing with, it seemed the smarter choice, although she was keeping a careful watch over her own state of mind.

As he figured it, it was probably best not to meet up or make any sort of sound as he wasn't eager for any other misunderstandings.
no subject
"It's Tahiri," she called out cautiously, still poised to move if she had to; no idea if whoever was out there was affected by the fog or not.

Was it?
She frowned as she saw the large creature emerging through the fog, and the sword was drawn quickly. "God, it's always wolves or psi-hounds or something."
no subject
So he was going with a no and he came to a stop, lowering his head and eyeing the sword warily.

NPCitzen. So, yeah. Blossom was out and about, pounding the streets (stupid fog!) and doing her hero thing and keeping an eye out for any possible clues about the kidnapping.
