With the ceremony completed and the graduated officially done with their high school careers, a brunch had been planned to celebrate the occasion and allow graduates, their guests, and the other inhabitants of the island to enjoy some good food and good conversation outside. The weather was warm and the sky was clear.

Fraser had been busy helping set up since the early morning hours. Apparently, Dean Stinson had gone a little overboard with some of the food, particularly the cake. The huge sheet cake arrived via truck and, where Fraser thought he'd be able to carry it, ended up having to use a forklift to get it to the park. From there, it took several people to lift the cake onto a table of its own. It was that big. Fraser hoped everyone enjoyed and hoped everyone was prepared to take a lot of cake home.

There were also several other tables of food and drinks, ready to be enjoyed. There were tables and chairs situated around the park, covered by tents to keep it from becoming too warm.

And there was cake. Please don't forget the cake.

"I still have responsibilities to the Imperium, brother dearest. Even if you -- the you to be -- wants me to remain in Fandom, I do get to come back to torment the Guild ambassadors," she teased. "I rather think you like making them deal with me first."

"For the good of the Imperium?" He gave her an amused look. "Well, if someone is really annoying I might let alice deal with them."

Ghanima snickered. "Cruel, Leto," she scolded. "Keeping her at court. You ought to let her do a Grand Tour. Everyone should get the chance to meet Miss Liddell."

"There's a thought," he replied. "She is fond of adventures, after all." There were security issues, of course, but he didn't want to think about that now.

//She'll find adventures one way or another. Security can be dealt with,// she said, switching to one of the Fremen dialects. Leto did not need to say things aloud for his twin to know his mind.

//Knowing Alice, I'm sure there's a few of the Fedaykin who will be utterly charmed by her, and willing to go off-world if she wished.// She was, after all, a good Fremen girl, for one raised off-world.

Yes, she certainly was. Strange that he should find a good Fremen girl from Earth. Leto smiled. //Yes, she'll find adventures. I've promised her that.// The smile widened. //But I think she'll be an excellent help when it comes to diplomacy.//
