With the ceremony completed and the graduated officially done with their high school careers, a brunch had been planned to celebrate the occasion and allow graduates, their guests, and the other inhabitants of the island to enjoy some good food and good conversation outside. The weather was warm and the sky was clear.

Fraser had been busy helping set up since the early morning hours. Apparently, Dean Stinson had gone a little overboard with some of the food, particularly the cake. The huge sheet cake arrived via truck and, where Fraser thought he'd be able to carry it, ended up having to use a forklift to get it to the park. From there, it took several people to lift the cake onto a table of its own. It was that big. Fraser hoped everyone enjoyed and hoped everyone was prepared to take a lot of cake home.

There were also several other tables of food and drinks, ready to be enjoyed. There were tables and chairs situated around the park, covered by tents to keep it from becoming too warm.

And there was cake. Please don't forget the cake.

"Dude, all I know is that one minute we were talking, and the next, you hit me like a total fucking asshole," Puck replied before eating some more pancakes. This guy was not going to ruin brunch, damn it.

Alex just grinned at the description, pretty proud of that label. "Did it hurt? Poor baby. Might wanna be careful what you lie about."

Puck took a moment to review what he'd said before all the punching commenced, and then looked to Alex with a genuinely curious expression. "Which one of 'em's your girlfriend?"

"None of them." Well, that was true. In his head. "I don't date. You're still a liar."

"Sister?" he tried.

"Please, if that you were talking about my sister like that, I'd kill you," he said sweetly.

Puck just kept on eyeing him. "Well. Whichever one it was, dude, I was just kidding."

"Yeah, you're just saying that because I punched you." Well, Alex thought so, at least. Hey, his ego demanded that sequence of events be true.

"Eh. If I'd known she was your whatever -- whichever one it was -- I wouldn't've said it," Puck acquiesced. "You wanna tell me which one? 'Cause I wasn't lying that all of those chicks have been putting out all kinds of signals."

"I'd just think before you open your big mouth again," Alex advised in a sickeningly sweet tone. "Might keep your nose from getting broken."

"Whatever, there's a hot goth chick who fixed it," Puck replied, shrugging.

"And I got comfort sex." Not that he'd say who from. "So, looks like we both won in different ways."

"Sexual healing is better." Puck, remember how lying got you in trouble before?
