When Adrian came in to work today, he found everything set up already, and Tino behind the bar wearing a graduation cap. The weird thing was, it wasn't even in Fandom High's colors.

"You're a strange man, has anyone ever told you that?" Adrian wondered.

Tino had no answer, probably because he didn't need to be told.

Dimitri was still traveling back from escorting Lissa to St Vlad's, so Rose was on guardian duty tonight.

A slightly subdued Rose in proper black who faded into the background far better than she usually was able to. Which didn't mean she wasn't paying complete attention to everything in the bar. Just subdued.

Adrian kind of liked Rose playing guardian. He didn't know why. He wouldn't even want to bug her except he was Adrian and she was Rose and he was not great with the self-control.

"I'm pretty sure you're allowed a drink from Tino," he offered. He'd so get it.

Rose gave him a Look. "Yeah, Adrian, I'm going to have a drink tonight. Are you smoking crack tonight?"

"Water's a drink," he smirked. "I do know some non-alcoholic things, thank you."

Break week and all, it was actually surprising Effy hadn't found her way to a bar long before now.

But, she was here now. Better late than skipping out altogether... And hey, if it wasn't her favourite bartender. "Evening." No, she wasn't about to announce that first part to him.

What she would do, was eye Tino's outfit with some distaste. "He not noticed graduation's over?"

"I think he might still be in the graduation spirit," Adrian said, grinning when he saw her. "Look who remembered to come see me."

Effy smirked, sliding onto her stool and leaning forward against the bar. "Been feeling neglected?"

It was break. Bruce's most recent relationship was over (although this was the first time it wasn't because he left town forever). He was thirsty. All of this meant Bruce was taking a trip to the bar for low level brooding over something non-alcoholic that looked kind of alcoholic.

"Can I get a glass of ginger ale?" Bruce asked Adrien.

"Coming right up," Adrian said, as Tino began getting that together. "Ginger ale's a new one."

"I like to start trends," Bruce said, watching as the work was effortlessly passed off to Tino. So that was what having a sidekick would be like. "Just call me creative."

Tired after a long day or not, Dimitri showed at the bar as soon as he arrived back on the island. It was his duty and even if Rose was perfectly willing and capable of taking his place, he couldn't be available and not show up.

And so he blended into the background, watching and waiting.

Like Rose wasn't going to spot Dimitri the moment he came in. For one thing, it was her job. For another, she'd been watching for him all evening.

She wasn't going to go say hi or anything - she knew better than that, but her eyes lit up as he came in and he got just a little smile there.

There was no way he missed that tiny smile of hers, and he acknowledged her with the slightest nod of his head. And a whole lot of eye contact.

If she was going to keep working and not run off to do something more entertaining, Rose would be in for a good deal more of that from Dimitri. But sadly, nothing else.

After handwavily getting in touch with Steve and Nathan as well, Tony was just going to enjoy himself with a nice glass of scotch while he waited.

Tyler would join him with his beer. He wasn't able to totally avoid thinking maudlin things about how this might be their last night in Caritas, but damned if he'd say that.

"Admit it," he said. "There aren't bars like this in Manhattan."

Which might be a good thing for Manhattan.

Nathan wasn't particularly taking his time getting here tonight, no. It was strange having a Monday that didn't see him getting out of the house at least for class, and so the invite to the bar was a welcome one, thank you.

A welcome one with a glass of Coke. Boring, non-alcholic, syrupy Coke.

"To hell with it. Rum, tonight, too."

Steve had a Mr. Pibb and an awkward expression. He wasn't so good at goodbyes, okay? Especially goodbyes to Tony, good grief.

"You do still have that laptop, right?" Yeah, like Tony was going to let anyone here not keep in touch with him.

Even if that meant he had to send them dozens of annoying texts.
