Clark wasn't exactly working at the bar so much as stopping by to see how his good friend Tino was. Maybe have a coke and see if he couldn't tune in some preseason football for his trouble.

It was good being in a town where he didn't get interrupted twice a quarter to rescue someone who'd been buried alive.

There was no other place Shunsui would rather be right now than a place where there might be free drinks. Even if he wasn't the one offering them.

Free drinks meant there was a rather happy John Price in the lounge. Even if he didn't know the man well. He wore a Hawaiian shirt (which was an odd look for Price), just to seem festive.

It didn't work too well.

Wild horses couldn't keep Drake from the stage tonight. First up was a visit to the 80s.

Christian came into the bar direct from the beach (http://whore4trash.livejournal.com/6450.html?style=mine) and made a beeline for the first half-emptyu glass he spotted that looked vaguely alcoholic.

"I think I just saw a girl turn into a mermaid," he declared, dazed. "Does that -- happen often?"

Bobby could actually count the number of times he'd been to Caritas on one hand. Huh. At least this time, he was actually planning to drink more than a soft drink. Well. Maybe. Possibly.

Shunsui couldn't remember ever meeting Drake, but it was easy to pick him out and, enjoying his drink, he came over to give the man a much-deserved pat on the back.

"The man of the hour ♥!" he called out, lifting his glass. He didn't even know what he was really celebrating except free booze, and that was good enough for him.

Karla floated over two glasses while she got comfortable in a chair. She placed the bottle in front of him and beamed. "This one is slightly over a hundred and fifty years old. It's one of the last vintages of the vineyard's, too. There was a fire about two years later that wiped out everything."

Karla wasn't sure how many years of tithes Hobart had wiped out to get this bottle. She just knew she wasn't going to let him keep it.

There was no way Piper was going to miss this. She was very determined to have a good. The free drinks would probably help.

Sookie, sure, was kind of sad to be here. More than a little sad, really. There'd probably be crying later.

But right now she was actually nursing a drink, trying to look and feel festive. Alcohol helped.

Farnsworth was not, unlike everyone else, here for the party or the free booze.

Farnsworth was here because he thought he was on his way somewhere else and just got really lost and subsequently confused on the way.

Anakin was nursing a whiskey, no ice, and trying to stay as far away from the students as possible. He didn't want to feel like some kind of weird wake chaperone.
