Homecoming Carnival Post I | Park | Friday | October 22

In keeping with this year’s Homecoming theme, the carnival was decorated in all shades of blue, teal, turquoise and green. There were fish bowls on each table, under the sea murals painted on the sides of booths and fountains dotting the perimeter of the park.

The carnival was in full swing. The smells of carnival foods were wafting throughout town and the sounds of rides and different games could be heard from all corners. It was Homecoming weekend and the student council hopes you have a great time!

Wheeeeee! An extra-hard squeeze there, but Dinah wasn't letting go of him just yet. "Any new tattoos? New piercings? New pies? What room are you in, in the hotel? We so have to have a slumber party."

He knew he'd forgotten something.

"Slumber parties are good. No new ink or holes, but I did get a good chicken pot pie last week I haven't tried out yet. How 'bout you, are you a famous superhero yet?"

"Yay!" Dinah bounced and finally eased up on the strangle-hug, to say, "Ooooo, you think the Diner would let you make it there tomorrow? And nooo. Although. Heh."

She pulled an article a little shyly out of her pocket and showed it to him.

New crimefighters? asked the Investigator Weekly. A very blurry picture of her and Helena, on the roof of The Museum of Modern Art, where two would-be thieves were found tied up the next morning.
