Ramona didn't do it often, but girl knew how to throw a party. Granted, at the age of seventeen, she hadn't been to a ton of college parties, but she'd been to enough to emulate them effectively.

She'd gotten to the beach early enough to set up a couple beer pong tables, along with one for flip cup. There were several kegs of (really, really cheap -- might as well go for the full college draw here) beer, and nearby those, she'd placed an assortment of liquors and mixers. There was no bartender or anything for this party -- not only to fit with the theme, but also because Ramona was cheap and practical. See also the traditional red party cups she'd gotten for their drinks!

There were, however, tiki torches and a bonfire, and she'd sprung for festive little umbrellas to go in the drinks. Ramona hadn't really wanted to go totally tropical for this thing, but she'd dressed relatively beachy for her -- she was wearing a sundress, at least, over her swimsuit, and she had a little white flower in her blue hair.

She was determined to make sure Kate didn't miss any of that vital college experience. Because clearly, this was the important stuff.

Which is what we're best at, when it comes to RP parties.

There's a couple of platters of food, though not anything too extensive (though Ramona had the presence of mind to get marshmallows and hot dogs for the fire), and tons of cheap beer and decent liquor -- as well as mixers, for you non-drinkers. Grab a drink or a snack!

I included links because I realize some people actually didn't just screw around throughout college like I did. >.> Play beer pong, do a keg stand, make up a new drinking game, play never have I ever, DO WHATEVER.

For where would a party be without music? Ramona had set up some speakers around the beach area they'd be inhabiting, and there was plenty of space to dance near the bonfire!

Because I don't know what other threads we'd even need. Up early for SP, and I'll be in and out running errands today but I'm totes around via my phone!

Of course Ramona was there to mingle. It was her party, duh. But even if that was the case, she did sort of linger to the side, watching people to make sure that no one unwelcome had snuck in (there was only one of those, anyway) and that no one was so inebriated as to fall into the fire or anything.

That'd probably be bad.

Kate was here too, obviously, wearing a blue dress over her bikini, with a red cup of beer in hand, and looking mighty pleased.

Well, it was a party that had something to do with her, but she hadn't had to organize it herself. What was there not to like?

Bobby had no idea he was banned from this party, and anyway, the person who'd imposed the ban was currently a pony, so whatever. He was totally here.

Ramona also had no idea that he was banned from the party, since all she remembered was that Topher wasn't allowed to come, as she hated him and all. That being said, she was still sober enough to make sure to be a good hostess, and wandered by. "Are you here for Kate, or for the free beer?" she asked curiously, since he certainly wasn't there for her.

Jeremy had had a pretty fun, flirty day of rides in Disneyland with Miley yesterday, and today there was a party, so he was a pretty happy guy.

Dressed casually, if not really for swimming, he hovered around the snack table, with a mug in hand.

Sookie was mostly here because she liked Kate, and she liked the beach, and...well, beer was fine. But she was studiously staying away from that girl with the blue hair. Her mental landscape was irritating her.

Puck, in a rare enough moment, actually still had his shirt on. It was mostly due to the fact that he had a patch of gray skin on the left side of his chest, but that wasn't stopping him from circulating the party, his sleeves rolled up.

He had to show off something.

TOPHER IS CRYING THAT HE CAN'T COME. CRYING.

But the world does NOT need a drunk sociopath running around with the two girls who punched him, so too bad for him.

"Kate, mostly, though it's not like I'm gonna turn down free beer," Bobby noted, glance lingering over her hair for a moment as he wondered whether the color was real.

"Rooooomie!" No, Bobby hadn't actually drank anything yet. That was just his usual level of enthusiasm. Kate was just lucky she had a drink in her hand or there would've been tacklehugging.

Simon had shown up, yes. But he was sticking to the edges, keeping mostly to himself and just observing.

He was still feeling a little antsy over last weekend, and had spent most of the week recuperating from his lack of sleep over that time.

Ramona caught that glance, raising a brow at him for it. "Well, good. There's an abundance of both," she replied. "I'm Ramona, by the way."

HE WOULD JUST GET PUNCHED AGAIN. He is so abused.

Miley had hesitated when she got the email because, well, she didn't do the whole crazy-drinking-party thing. But after a few encouraging texts from Lilly, she'd decided it couldn't hurt to show up for a bit, so long as she brought her water bottle and stuck to her guns about Just Saying No.

Plus, she was still a little energized from yesterday's flirty day with Jeremy, not to mention eager to show off the new dress (http://www.djpremium.com/shop/P1061410/minkpink/mickeys-ms-dress.html?cm_mmc=Performics&utm_source=Affiliate&utm_medium=GAN&utm_term=Primary%20%28j12199141k147466%29&utm_content=&utm_campaign=Polyvore%20%28k147466%29) she'd bought in Paris the day before, so how could she pass up a social opportunity?

Just no booze.

"Bobby," he replied. "Drake. The cool Bobby." Not that he'd ever met the other Bobby, but he felt fairly confident in that assertion, all things considered.

"Miley!" Ramona drawled, wandering over. "You look all cute. And you...brought a water bottle!"

And now she was trying to remember what it was about a Bobby.... "Oh, crap, are you the Bobby I was supposed to forbid to come?" she asked after a moment. "Tony was all 'Don't let Bobby come!' but I'm completely willing to assume he meant the lame Bobby."

She also hadn't met any other Bobbys. (Bobbies?)

"Roomie!" Kate exclaimed happily. She wasn't even tipsy yet, but maybe she was already anticipating it in some way. "How've you been, since that time oh so long ago that I sw you last?"

It probably hadn't been all that long ago at all.
