The place was open tonight, and hopefully people had actually heard about or seen the signs for the Over 18 party. Otherwise... this was going to be lame, oops.

The bar was open in case anyone wanted to drink (imagine that), and the floor in the back room had been mostly cleared with the tables pushed back so people could mingle or eventually sleep if they ended up not wanting to trudge home later.

And there was a sign out.

"Oh, I've got another one," Kitty said. "I've never kissed a girl."

Drink up, probably some of the boys at least!

Cindy was just going to finish her drink.

And take a jello shot.

And maybe take another drink.

Oh yeah. Down the hatch, and with a flourish. Jono grinned a little.

"On this island, that might not last long."

"What, no Katy Perry love here?"

"I was not at college that long," said Kitty.

Also she'd had the I JUST NEED TO BE BY MYSELF thing going, too.

"Not even with X-23? Or Jubilee? Or... Storm?"

"No! And before you keep asking about other girls by name, no to those too," she said.

And another hesitation from Troy. "... I can't remember," he said, finally, not taking a drink.

"Bah."

All the Jamies drank.

Girls, boys, aliens from septigendered species...

Ronan took a rather large drink for that one.

"I need more wine," Tyrion announced absently, as he began trying to take one sip for each girl.

It didn't work.

Bo waited until after she'd chugged her beer to say, "I offer very reasonable rates for tutoring..."

"Can I take back my drink then and pretend?" Cindy asked with a grin.

"You could," Bo answered thoughtfully. "But it's really hard to fake being an amateur..."

And with three hundred years of experience under her belt, Cindy was many things but no amateur.

"I could try real hard," Cindy said, fluttering her eyelashes at Bo. "Though, really, I can think of better ways to expend that effort."

"Good, because I actually have no idea what reasonable rates might be," Bo admitted. "So I'd feel really guilty for ripping you off." She grinned. "Also, I'm Bo."

"Cindy, hi," Cindy said with a grin. "I've seen you around--you work up at the school and at the Devil's Nest, right?"

Even if it wasn't Cindy's job to notice things, she would have noticed Bo. Noticing Bo was something that just happened.

"Security for the school," Bo supplied. "I don't think they'd want the kids learning anything I could possibly come up with to teach."

"You never know what kind of skills these kids might need later on in life," Cindy said, giving Bo a completely innocent look, really. "Though there's always the community center if you wanted to teach something a little more adult-oriented.

Bo snickered. "I took a couple of the classes there. How to invest your money when you plan to live forever might come in handy, once I figure out how long I'm actually supposed to live."

If Cindy didn't have a cover to protect, she'd be able to offer Bo a few tips in that regard. Granted, Bo didn't get her funds from a goose that laid golden eggs, but investing was investing, no matter where the seed money came from.

"Oh?" she asked, instead. "Is that number up in the air?"

That revelation didn't seem to bother Cindy in the slightest.

"Maybe?" Bo gave an uncertain shrug; of everything she'd ever wondered regarding what she was, longevity had been pretty low on the list until she'd met up with walking, talking, blood-drinking examples of why it might be an issue. "I'm not quite human--" Both understatement and fair warning. "--But I ~~play one on tv~~ was raised as one, so your guess is probably as good as mine."

And the one person -- as far as Bo knew -- who could answer questions like that was currently letting her messages pile up while well-oiled Moroccan boys fed her grapes, chi and champagne. Or maybe they were Swedish this week.

Yep, another sip of his beer.

Jan drew some more pretty pictures of red-haired girls.
