Caritas- Saturday

The place was open tonight, and hopefully people had actually heard about or seen the signs for the Over 18 party. Otherwise... this was going to be lame, oops.

The bar was open in case anyone wanted to drink (imagine that), and the floor in the back room had been mostly cleared with the tables pushed back so people could mingle or eventually sleep if they ended up not wanting to trudge home later.

And there was a sign out.

PARTYGOERS GET THE FIRST ROUND FREE!

[So I am off to drive the sidestreets up to LA on a spare tire and will be trying to ping from my phone, LJ permitting. If not, I will ping back as soon as I get back omg.]

Tyrion went through some of his second glass of wine on that one. "Who are you people who haven't?"

Cindy winked at him. "Mine comes from an impressive tolerance," she assured him. "And usually finding something more fun to do than continuing to drink."

"Oh?" Tyrion said, perking up distinctly. "Out of idle curiosity, had you made plans for after the party?"

"Not yet," Cindy said, giving him a smile. "Outside of work, I generally make few plans ahead of time. It's a lot more fun that way."

Tyrion ambled around the circle to sit closer to Cindy. "I think I may need to learn from your approach," he said, returning the smile. "Hang back and see what happens, hmm?"

In his experience, that rarely lead anywhere good, but he could try...

Cindy shifted over, giving Tyrion a little more room to settle in next to her. "I'd say good things come to those who wait," she said. "But that's not entirely true, either. It's more like good things come to those who keep their options open."
