Valentines Dance, Town Hall, Saturday Evening

The town hall had been transformed into a ballroom fit for a queen (and/or king. Or multiples thereof). The ceiling was resplendent in ribbons of royal purple, gold and white, and castle murals adorned the walls.

As they entered, tonight's guests were offered their choice of crown or tiara. Over by the photographer ~~who doesn't have a thread because that's what happens when you post at 6:30 in the morning~~, there was a pair of thrones set up to really complete the theme.

And- of course there was glitter. Really, people, did you even need to ask?

Anyway, the doors were open, the punch was as of yet unspiked... welcome to your 2012 Valentines Ball, Fandom!

"You were undoing your tie just to get some punch?" Luke asked. Yes, he was gonna focus on that.

"I thought it might make me all hot and bothered," Percy said, shrugging. "You want me to straighten it back up so I look all distinguished and stuff?"

"You don't have to," Luke said, hesitantly reaching out to grab a hold of that tie. "I kind of like it like this."

"Oh yeah?" Percy asked, looking down at his tie and Luke's hand. "Why's that?"

He kind of knew why.

"Because," Luke said, giving the tie a little tug. "You look good all messy and disheveled."

"You're biased." And he was letting Luke be biased tonight. Any other day, there would have been distance but he didn't have it in him to keep that tonight.

"I'm sure plenty of other people find it hot," Luke said. "I'd ask around and prove that but then I'd have to punch people after they said you were hot."

Any other time and he wouldn't be saying this sort of stuff out loud but he couldn't help himself at the moment.

"Punching people isn't nice, Luke," Percy chided, shaking his head. "What would all these nice people think about you getting hauled off on such a nice occasion?"

"Who would be hauling me off, exactly?" Luke asked, smirking.

"I dunno," Percy said, taking a chance by reaching for the waist of Luke's pants and giving them a tug. "The cops?"

"Why don't you haul me off instead?" Luke asked, thinking he had great control since he managed not to react too obviously to Percy's fingers on his pants.

"And why would I want to do that?" It probably had nothing to do with Percy's attempts to covertly feel Luke through his pants. Nope, nothing at all.

Luke nearly choked on air when he felt Percy's hand against his pants, proving that he didn't have a strong grip on that control he claimed to have. "You'll get to do more than grope me if you do."

"Oh?" Well, that did sound nice and Percy looked like he wanted to do that, oh yes. "Will I, now?"

"Yes, a lot more," Luke said, not-so-subtly trying to get his point across by sliding one of his hands around to Percy's ass and squeezing. Hopefully the chaperones had hit the spiked punch early tonight.

"How much more?" Percy asked, leaning forward until his lips almost touched Luke's.

"At this point I'm pretty sure you can get whatever you want so long as your clothes come off," Luke said, finishing that sentence with a light kiss since Percy's lips were there and all.

"Promises, promises," Percy chanted before smiling at him. "Not here, though. Wanna get out of here?"

If Luke said no, there was just no hope for him.

"God, yes." There was no way he was saying no to that. "Let's go."

The dance wasn't all that exciting anyway.

"Good choice," Percy said and kept his hand hooked in the waist of Luke's pants so he could start dragging the other boy out of there.

It was time to go.
