Caritas, Monday

Jake was in a pretty good mood as he came in to work today. The kids' graduation had come and gone- well, not without incident, but with... fairly self-contained incident. Let's put it that way. Handwavily seeing people visit with their friends and family had made him think maybe he ought to go back to St. John's for a couple days, just to catch up with everyone. And maybe rub his father's face in the fact that he'd managed to build a pretty successful life here in Fandom, yes.

"Thanks, but don't make me cry," Quinn said, with a little laugh even though she kind of meant it. "Are you out this week too, or sticking around for a while?"

Quinn nodded. "As of Monday, yeah. No drop bears so it'll be totally dull."

She bit her lip thoughtfully. The idea of new people being in their room in mere days was distinctly odd; she'd gotten to really like the room.

"Would it be weird of us to sign our names on the wall inside the closet or something before we go?"

"I can promise it's really unlikely and I'll have a fire extinguisher handy?" Really, Claudia wouldn't put it past Fandom to set them on fire their last week there.
