Caritas- Tuesday

Kitty liked her job. She liked being social, she liked meeting and talking to people, and in the two years she'd been doing this there had been very few customers she'd ever really wanted to slap for being annoying.

This girl who kept "WOOOOO"ing at the bar, though, ugh. Kitty was seriously considering just cutting her off way early to get her to leave. It was Emma's night at the Devil's Nest, right? Maybe she could sic her on Emma...

Whatever, Kitty was going to just clean glasses over here and pretend she was busy.

"Exactly," Jessica said. "So, what brings you out to the bar tonight? I'm assuming that not everyone here got voicemails from Sia calling them mean names in a friendly manner."

"I can't say I got a phone call like that." Now she kind of wished she did for the amusement factor. "I just didn't feel like staying in my room today, and I haven't been here, yet."

"Well, you picked a good night for it," Jessica said. "I don't think it's usually this busy. Or noisy. Other than the band, of course."

"I have to admit, part of the reason I'm here was to see if the zombie band was real," Alex said, glancing toward the band.

"Real and insane," Jessica said. "I haven't gotten too close to them, but that's mostly to avoid the smell."

"Well, I've never seen them eat any brains, but they're authentic enough for me," Jessica noted.

"The farthest I'm willing to go is they're zombies who are more concerned with rocking out than they are with eating," Jessica said. "I'm not going to make any judgments on how friendly they are."
