Friendsgiving - Apartment Above Stark Industries, Saturday Evening

Well, it looked like this dinner party was going to either be dead or the strangest one that Tony had thrown in a long time, just based on how he woke up this morning.

But the invites had been sent and there was a catered turkey all ready to be eaten. And mama didn't raise no quitter, so here Tony was. Soldiering on through One Of Those Weekends.

"...oh god, should I have childproofed the cabinets?" he asked himself, staring at his completely not kid-friendly apartment.

Yeah, this would be a great party.

"You should try the Lucky Charms first," Alec said. "Everything gets all mushy if it stays in the milk too long."

Steve stared into the bowl, looking slightly confused. "There's s'posed to be blue ones?"

Blue food was still pretty unheard of in the 1920s.

The 1920s existed solely to make everybody sad was the problem.

"Course!" Alec said, a child of the nineties, where the less natural a color was, the better it tasted. "Colors an' shapes! Hearts, stars, moons, clovers, diamonds, horsehoes, an' balloons! The blue ones are diamonds."

"Sure," Steve said with a little grin, taking a big bite. "This isn't dessert?" he checked.

"Naw, it's breakfast!" Alec said. "Nana doesn't let us eat 'em, though. She says they're unhealthy. But they're so good!"

"That's it, after you're done with that bowl, we're sneakin' out an' goin' to the store an' gettin' you all the good cereals you ain't never had," Alec decided.

"Oooh, that is pretty good, yo," Alec said approvingly. "I usually let my shoulders go down more, like this." He let his shoulders slump and toed the floor a bit. "That helps."

"Oooh, and if you cough just a few times, that sometimes works too," Steve said. "I don't do that, though, 'cause I cough a lot just regularly and Ma worries."

He shoved more marshmallow cereal in his mouth to recover from the trauma.
