Well, it looked like this dinner party was going to either be dead or the strangest one that Tony had thrown in a long time, just based on how he woke up this morning.

But the invites had been sent and there was a catered turkey all ready to be eaten. And mama didn't raise no quitter, so here Tony was. Soldiering on through One Of Those Weekends.

"...oh god, should I have childproofed the cabinets?" he asked himself, staring at his completely not kid-friendly apartment.

Yeah, this would be a great party.

Tamsin hadn't been planning to be here because her mun had no life left whatever, going to parties was stupid when you could drink on your own and ignore the shambles of your personal life.

Zounds, what was she doing here? All her confidence from playing Shopkeeper had dwindled spectacularly, all her energy dealing with people drained, so it was amazing she had even come instead of just hiding under her bed for the rest of the day.

But she was going to be brave. She was going to be bold, and she was going to that party.

Even if she spent the entirety of it against a wall near a corner and possibly sort of hiding behind a plant or lamp or whatever she could find, trying not to stare at everyone else through her big round glasses.

Kanan's day had been interesting so far, but there was a party to get to. He was looking forward to that part.

He wasn't certain that he should be looking forward to that part, but here he was, looking forward to it. Possibly just because the weirdness had skipped him, personally, over, and he was neither a floating squeaky toy or a youngling named Caleb at the moment. He was considering it a win, thanks.

And soaking in that schadenfreude. Hey, it wasn't him. Score.

Liam was... still kind of figuring out existence in general. Look, from his perspective, he was only a few hours old.

But! Here he was, clutching a bag of marshmallows in one hand. Because while he wasn't quite sure how or why he knew he had been invited here tonight, he did remember that he was supposed to bring something.

Clint wasn’t sure if he was supposed to be here, but Kitty said to bring food so he hoped people would forgive him for barging in since he had pumpkin spice cookies. “Hi! Wow, this is a nice place.”

Mary had braved Gunther's wrath this morning and whipped up a sweet potato casserole in the hotel kitchen. She had also brought her famous chocolate chip cookies, just because she had more faith in her ability to make cookies than casseroles.

Now, as she looked around her her hosts, she wondered if more sugar was what this party actually needed...

Hardison had also brought a side! He was still pretty new at this stuff, but Nana had always said that if you were visiting someone for dinner, you brought something with you. So Hardison had managed to jury-rig up a rickshaw like thing, attach it to little puppy Val, and head over bringing a pound of unpeeled potatoes, two whole squashes, a gallon of milk, and a box of cereal.

Oh! And a truly unreasonable number of fortune cookies. They were just laying around the house for some reason.

"Hello!" he announced, "I brought stuff!"

There had been the big fancy house again, and Hannibal ususally just stayed there when he ended up there, but this time there had been a dish in the kitchen, labled in Lithuanian and French and...maybe English?...telling him to take it to this place at this time.

Adult Hannibal was used to weird weekends at this point, and had maybe gotten into the habit of leaving notes for himself on the weekends.

So here was a serious little boy with big eyes, dressed in a suit (with the tie not quite right, but he'd done his best!), carrying a huge dish of cepelinai.

Peter had brought...a vegetable tray. Hey, he didn't cook, but he could cut things up with the best of them!

He showed up and blinked at all the children. "Is the island being weird?"

Someone may have been scurrying by Tony's knees, a plate piled high with food in one hand as she tried to find a good place to hang out and watch everyone else. Someone might have paused to side-eye him for any possible other food he might have on hand. Or a wallet.

There was a turkey, some dressing, and mashed potatoes. Look, they'd been expecting people to make the other sides. But now it might just be leftover Halloween candy as sides depending on those meddling kids.

Fortunately, Hannibal had made his side dish ahead of time, and had instructed his weekend self to bring it, so there were also cepelinai. They were traditional for holidays!

There was a nice, big tray of cut up carrots, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, and peppers, too, courtesy of Peter.

Amaya didn't really know what Thanksgiving was, but she did work at a general store, and she conferred with Apu, and they decided that one of those rotisserie chicken things might work. And a bag of uncooked stuffing. And a big jug of the Red Squishies.

Parker had made friends with the squirrels she'd seen. Or tried to, anyway. Now she was imitating them, and squirreling away candy and pie.

This was why grown-up Eliot worried about her when she was normal-sized, really. The only thing that had really changed about her was her size.
