The nicest part of winter was how quickly the sun went down in the evenings--gave a vampire a lot more time to get things done before bleeding from the ears and eyes, catching fire, and dying, etc., etc.

Finally back from settling some accounts in Louisiana (and jacking up the prices at Fangtasia in preparation for the Mardi Gras crowds), Eric was back in Fandom, settled into his normal spot well away from the bar.

Vampires don't serve humans, thank you very much. That's what Tiny was for.

"That's me," Hera agreed. "I went to find out about parking my ship, and they made me management. It was called Imperial at the time, which was...not good." For a variety of reasons. Mostly being that the Empire sucked.

"I spent a lot of time in high school there," she admitted. "Though if it helps, I don't think they meant that Imperial."

Said the reluctant Imperial.

"A different Empire?" Hera asked. Then she smiled. "You like fiddling around with junk too?"

"I'm not sure. It was named that when I got here, and I figured if it was the same place my grandfather would have raged about it," Jaina shrugged. "And yeah. I'm a mechanic and pilot. The garage in the dorms was filled with bins full of scraps I'd collected in case I needed to work on something."

Ah, memories.
