Caritas- Tuesday (both daytime and after dark)
Kitty actually kind of hoped no one came in today because it meant they weren't out in the dark when it was terrible. She, of course, could just not be solid and not get into trouble, and she worked at a place where people who couldn't do that could be safe from whatever was out there.
So she was here, and preparing for a boring night. Boring was fine.
...She bet it wouldn't be too boring.
[Open! Caritas should be open before sunset so the alarm would go off during the shift. Please specify when you're coming in!

After dark
She stopped in the doorway to extinguish the fireball she'd had ready in case of ambush, taking the place in.
"Huh. Zombies." She headed over to the bar, giving the band a raised eyebrow on the way. "I don't even know why I'm surprised."

Re: After dark
Not this summer, but usually!
Re: After dark
And yes, Regina was quite aware you could say the same about her.

If it wasn't she was moving.
Re: After dark
She wasn't super thrilled to have to explain the Story Realms to anyone on her second day in town, but if she was going to find anyone who could help her diagnose where her curse had gone wrong, it was going to be helpful to be at least a little honest right up front. And Kitty had barely blinked when Regina brought up the idea of curses, generally.

After Dark
"Not a fan of this one," she informed Kitty. "I just hope it sticks to this whole 'fine during the day' thing, because if it doesn't, things are going to get really messed up around here. Also, don't go to Silent Hill, that place sucks."
Looks like someone lost track of time when she'd gone out there to investigate a little bit after her class that morning. She'd debated even bothering to come in tonight, but it was literally just a right turn off the causeway instead of a left, so why not? Caritas was a safe space for these things anyway, right? And maybe Kitty would want some company.
Re: After Dark
She assumed that was someone else's blood, but just in case.
Re: After Dark
Even if Rosa wasn't entire sure it was technically blood anymore.
"Yeah," she said. "Fine. Never better."
And since this was Rosa, it should be genuinely hard to tell if she was being sarcastic or not.
"Wouldn't mind a drink, though."
Re: After Dark
Re: After Dark
"Just a beer," she said. "For now. Sort of...get the edge off a little."
And there was definitely an edge there tonight.
Re: After Dark
"Coming right up," she said, getting her the beer a little faster than she would normally. "Want to ralk about it, or want to talk about literally anything else?"
Re: After Dark
And that one wasn't sarcasm, but a genuine question, because, if she ever had, she had clearly already forgotten about it, but she was also going to wonder what in the hell had gotten into her that day.
Re: After Dark
Re: After Dark
Unless, of course, Kitty wasn't talking about being a bartender, but rather just being Rosa's friend, in which case, yeah, she's right, that sort of was a job in and of itself, and that might be part of the general description of said job.

"With a name like 'Silent Hill,'" she said. "I can't really say I'm surprised."
Re: After Dark
And she had tried.
"Who're you?" she asked, quirking up her chin. She wouldn't normally care, but it was Tuesday and at Caritas, she sort of had a thing, plus, you know, kind of hard not to be a little suspicious of potentially new people surfacing when things went to shit.
Re: After Dark
"Regina Mills. 'New girl', apparently, and frankly, not terribly impressed so far."
Re: After Dark
"Don't expect it to get better," she offered, oh-so-helpfully. "It doesn't."
Yet...she was still here. After more than a year. Somehow.
She tried not to think about that.
Re: After Dark
Re: After Dark
"And," she allowed, rolling her eyes a little, "she's not...entirely wrong, either. It is usually better...than this. But better as a whole is..." Her nose wrinkled a little, "...debatable."
Of course, Rosa would sort of debate pretty much anything, so...
