Homecoming Carnival- Post I- The Park- Friday, October 23

It was a decent enough day for a gothic disco carnival! The sun was shining, the booths and rides were all set up, and sure there were brooms popping up everywhere, but that's just Fandom for you.

And okay, sure, people might have woken up today to find that they'd lost or gained some powers and skills overnight, but that was fine! Dunk Anakin and feel better.

Alexis would be lying if she said she hadn't been looking forward to this all week, because she'd been in Fandom for months and... come on. So she was here, looking particularly hot today, and wearing lipstick that she knew for a fact wouldn't transfer.

Astrid wasn't exactly sure how she wound up getting involved in this...just how she wasn't exactly sure how she wound up having to spend about half an hour trying to figure out how to make her hand not go through the doorknob of her room when she tried to leave earlier. Sure, she realized by then that she could have just passed right through the door, but figuring out how to grab things and not just phase through them would probably be pretty helpful for the rest of her day.

And she realized that this was actually incredibly convenient, because she could now just phase through anyone she would object to kissing.

Not that she could actually think of anyone she wouldn't actually mind kissing, but it was a weird day already, she could be wrong.

As far as Fandom things went, this didn't even seem that bad.

Until, of course, in waiting for anyone to come to her booth, Astrid flipped open her sketchbook to a blank page, focused on not just phasing her fingers through her pencil, and looked around for a brief moment before deciding on what to draw.

And only seemingly to get stick figures and blocky shapes. Drawings she could have done better versions of when she was four.

"...what the hell?"

Grog was still kind of confused about the whole Homecoming thing in general, but he understood kissing! He was very ready to give out some smooches to anyone who was curious what kissing a really tall gray guy would be like.

Tahani had never had a bad hair day. NEVER.

Until today, which was simply horrid timing. Fortunately, she had an amazing collection of hats, one of which she currently wearing.

How she would kiss people while under an enormous brim was going to be a logistical problem she would...figure out when it happened!

Troy, with all the apparent confidence in the world that this sort of thing would just naturally be a success and the hototies at this school would be just lining up at any moment for the chance to kiss him, just leaned back in his chair at his booth all cool-like and tried to ignore that voice in the back of his head pointing out that this was going to hurt real bad if it didn't actually go that way, like, at all...
