Even though Graham had announced the Jelly Bean Party at the Maaaaaaagpie Empooooor~rium tonight, he knew not everyone had the chance to catch radio, so he was absolutely sending out a text to all his friends and pretty much anyone else that Fandom decided needed to know about as soon as he got to the store that morning after his broadcast (and after picking up breakfast, because he was really craving waffles after that!), and then he very, very quickly took care of all his usual tasks when he came in to get them out of the way so he could work on making a big sign to put up for all passersby to see:

JELLY BEAN PARTY!
Here! Friday! Tonight!
Bring your favorite jelly beans
and let's PARTY!

And, with that done, and without there being...much set-up involved in a jelly bean party, Graham then decided to show his new best friend, Squire Axe O'Lotl, around the store (Garret, it turned out, was going to be spending the day with Triumph in the stables--cavies gotta cavy!), which eventually lead into....well, an adventure.

And adventure that basically meant having Axe A'Lotl axing a lot of the shelves and boxes, with a great deal of enthusiasm and sound effects, in their great hunt to discover the mysterious famed Jellybean Tree, so that they may chop in down in time for the grand Jelly Bean Party!

Look. He had fun here, alright?

"Hi, Raiden!" Graham waved, pleased to see that Gray's brother had come, too, and there was a small part of him that sort of scoped him over to see if, by any chance, pizza had also been brought.

Oooh, maybe pizza flavored jelly beans?

"Welcome to the Jelly Bean party! I'm glad you could come!"

Raiden should have brought pizza, as a base for all that sugar, but it hadn't occurred to him. He'd stuck to the brief.

"Glad to be here! I've never been to a jelly bean party before! Or even heard of one, and I don't know why. It seems like around Easter it'd be a great idea," he mused.

(Fun fact: Jelly Belly tried to make a pizza-flavored jelly bean once and it was so bad that it's now used as the 'vomit' flavored Bertie Bott's bean.)

"Neither have I!" Graham admitted cheerfully. It seemer to be a common thread, and, zounds, did that take a lot of the pressure off! "But Arden said she didn't know there were soooo many flavors of jelly beans, and so I thought, well, obviously, we have to have a party where she can try a whole bunch of them!"

Obviously!

(And that is a ~~disgusting~~ fun fact!)

Raiden gasped. "She didn't know--we should take her to one of those stores with the Jelly Belly dispensers." That would totally end well, right? Then he realized that was possibly a rude suggestion, considering all the effort Graham had put into this party. "I-I mean, as her second lesson."

Graham's eyes widened a little, but Raiden would hopefully understand that it was a look of awe rather than one of someone who'd just had their toes stepped on.

"Zoooounds," he gushed, "I didn't even think if dispensers! Oh. That's brilliant! I'm writing that one down for the next one, that would be amazing! Can you imagine? Getting right down underneath one of those, opening up wide, and then just letting it rip? If I go out early, drowning in a waterfall of jelly beans sounds like a pretty good way to go!"

...fuck. Hungry, Gluttony whined, and Raiden assured it, Yeah, bud, I hear you, as he ripped open the bag of jelly beans he'd brought and shoved a handful into his mouth.

When he had chewed enough to speak again he said, "Uh-huh, yeah...maybe don't actually...do that?" He'd hate for Gray to have to find a new roommate.
