So, this was Summer's first pollen week while single in three years, so she was thinking thigns could get a little interesting at her Caritas shift that evening.

Good interesting? Bad interesting?

(Even worse. not interesting at all??)

She had no idea, so she was trying not to think about it, or build up any expectations, to keep herself simultaneously prepared for everything and for nothing at all. Which left a pretty big, obnoxious knot in her stomach.

Although that could also just be from working in all-too-close proximity of Tino and the realization that, especially without the 'I have a boyfriend!' shield, that could theoretically happen tonight.

Yeah, okay, she was definitely going to just focus on making drinks and slinging jello and insisting this was an absolutely normal Wednesday night, until something started to look decidedly more advantageous for her.

Well, maybe with a little help from the specials tonight. What? She was nothing if not an opportunist.

Summer's eyes followed Margo's nod briefly, and, oh, we don't need to go into what the suggestion of a preference over that (dedicatedly ignoring anything said about puns, thank you) was doing for her. She was aware of her hang-ups, okay.

"Coming right up," she said, after eying Margo again and, despite knowing she probably wasn't going to fuck it up at this point, that she'd at least not be too cringe about it, but she set down a shot for her, leaned a little on her elbow on the bar and added, "And if you like that, I've got an even better one in the back office."

"Oh, do you," Margo said, smirking at her. "Well, shit, I can't say no to a pitch like that."

Down went the shot. She took a moment to let it linger.

And Summer was just going to linger a moment on appreciating how Margo let it linger.

"So?" she then asked, when she was pretty sure she couldn't stand another second of lingering, thanks. "Thoughts? Opinions? Ready for another?"

Margo nodded oh-so-thoughtfully. Really. "I'm into it," she decided. "Wouldn't mind another one. Now or later."

"Why not both?" asked Summer, about as casually as Margo had been thoughtful, and then she cocked her head toward the office before the rest of her started to follow suit. "Come on. I'll show you where we keep the really good stuff."

"Both it is," Margo said, smirking. She slid out of her seat with-- okay, a little bit of a pleased laugh. "Lead on."
