So, this was Summer's first pollen week while single in three years, so she was thinking thigns could get a little interesting at her Caritas shift that evening.

She had no idea, so she was trying not to think about it, or build up any expectations, to keep herself simultaneously prepared for everything and for nothing at all. Which left a pretty big, obnoxious knot in her stomach.

Although that could also just be from working in all-too-close proximity of Tino and the realization that, especially without the 'I have a boyfriend!' shield, that could theoretically happen tonight.

Yeah, okay, she was definitely going to just focus on making drinks and slinging jello and insisting this was an absolutely normal Wednesday night, until something started to look decidedly more advantageous for her.

Well, maybe with a little help from the specials tonight. What? She was nothing if not an opportunist.

Well she was trying not to hook up with an ex and maybe trying to pick up Summer, so.

"Arguably all right, could be better," Sabine admitted.

Sabine wasn't hating that reaction.

"What're you thinking?"

"I'm also thinking the most annoying part of this week is actually going out to find people to bang," she added, "So fuck it, you want my number?"

"Absolutely," Sabine said, because that really did make it so much easier. "And here I was going to see if you were busy after this."

Margo shrugged a shoulder. "I was probably going to hook up with our bartender," she said.

She took out her phone and found her own number. She held it out.

Sabine typed it into hers and said, "Good call. I guess I'll be calling tomorrow."

Which hey, might actually take the pressure off a little.

"You do that," Margo said, with a little smirk. "This week is fucking annoying enough without anyone hot getting stuck with a dry spell."

"This may be the new easiest way of handling this week," she said, sending off a text so Margo would have her number. "Just in case you need anything."
