So, this was Summer's first pollen week while single in three years, so she was thinking thigns could get a little interesting at her Caritas shift that evening.

Good interesting? Bad interesting?

(Even worse. not interesting at all??)

She had no idea, so she was trying not to think about it, or build up any expectations, to keep herself simultaneously prepared for everything and for nothing at all. Which left a pretty big, obnoxious knot in her stomach.

Although that could also just be from working in all-too-close proximity of Tino and the realization that, especially without the 'I have a boyfriend!' shield, that could theoretically happen tonight.

Yeah, okay, she was definitely going to just focus on making drinks and slinging jello and insisting this was an absolutely normal Wednesday night, until something started to look decidedly more advantageous for her.

Well, maybe with a little help from the specials tonight. What? She was nothing if not an opportunist.

"Wanna make it three?" Navaan offered, sidling up to him. "I'm really quite takable."

"Oh!" Navaan nodded. She didn't really understand monosexuality, but she was a fan of everybody getting what they wanted. "Okay! Can I getcha a drink instead?"

Because who didn't want more booze?

"I never say no to a drink, but I feel like I should buy you one instead?" Since he would not be delivering on the dick front. "What are you having? Wait, vampire, right?"

"Yup!" Navaan said cheerfully. That did not seem to be stopping her from perusing the drinks list, though. "If you wanna buy me a drink, that's cool! I'm not picky."

That was vastly obvious, Navaan.

"Do you need blood in your booze or are you okay with plain?" Raiden asked her, and then in the spirit of sharing volunteered, "The booze doesn't work on me without blood, but I can drink it either way."

"I like it both ways!" Navaan said, which was pretty much true of her entire life. "Blood is yummy and I need it to survive, but booze is also great! And drugs! And food! And...lots of things!"

Navaan was not an avatar of gluttony, but she definitely was a creature of excess.

Well, sometimes Raiden just met a fellow spirit.

This was not as concerning for him as it might have been for some of his brothers.

"It's so sad when people are limited and can't enjoy all the delicious things out there, isn't it?" Raiden asked, ignoring his monosexuality for the moment.

Emphatic nodding.

"People get so hung up on little things that they forget that they can just have fun and enjoy stuff!" Navaan exclaimed. "If you're not hurting anybody, who cares? Eat stuff, smoke stuff, drink stuff, fuck stuff!"

Maybe at some point she'd turn into a guy and they could have some fun then. Though until that time, they could be food-and-drink buddies!

"You know, this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship." With snacks. Lots of snacks.

"Yay friendship!" Navaan said, because regular friendship wasn't as good as friendships-with-benefits, but it was still pretty damn great.

Especially when it came with snacks!

Oh yeah, bitches love snacks.
